I always stay here lately when I go to San Jose for dental work. I have stayed at several hotels in the past I'm greater San Jose area but ever since I found this little hotel, I mostly stay here because 1. It's quiet, which is hard to find in the center of downtown 2. The staffs are nice, especially Donovan at the front desk 3. The rooms have not only mini fridge, but also a microwave for extra convenience 4. Location. It is about 7 minutes to walk over to Chinatown The hotel itself is a little aged and the breakfast is so so but good enough for the price. I hope they renovated in the near future

We only stayed for a quick night on our way out to other areas of Costa Rica. It is well located near restaurants and shops and the parking is easy. Our only complaint was the use of very strong cleaning supplies which are a challenge for people in our party who have allergies.
