The room was clean and had everything it said on the website it had. I love that it came with the bathroom essentials such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash and a hair dryer. All appliances were working. The linens were clean and did not have a chemical smell. The AC/heater was working perfect. Water pressure was great all throughout. No complaints. Parking was quick and easy.

We came from Fallbrook with my son and daughter and their children for their sister’s 40th birthday. It was great being able to stay in the same hotel and especially nice having a great breakfast before we headed out each morning. San Luis Obisbo is beautiful. Will definitely stay there again. We have never been in a Hampton Inn that wasn’t nice. The young man at check in and out was so kind.

I gave 1 star to the staff because of the front desk guy who was unable to professionally handle our complaint of having the smoke alarm going off at 6am.... We reported the issue and gave their maintenance team the whole day to fix, but it went off again at 8pm. The front desk guy had an attitude and tried to talk us back as if that was our fault. This single staff member made the stay very unpleasant. For Hampton inn to be part of the Hilton family, I really expected better customer service.
