Beautiful design and great location!

San Luis Creek Lodge is my favorite spot in SLO! Beautifully designed rooms that feel like a gust house rather than a hotel room. Super friendly staff and dog friendly. Great location for Cal Poly visits.

I do not see how this hotel had high reviews. I have stayed at way nicer hotels for wayyyy cheaper. We were in a room all the way in the back and it was dirty on the stairs leading to the room. Then in the room #23 a horrible dirty smell when we walked in (we had to spray perfume) to cold to open windows. Then it looked like blood or nail polish on the tv stand and in the shower. Sinks and toilet were clean. The beds were comfy with all the pillows was nice. It was a VIP hotel and so i assumed the coffee and pastries were free but i guess not because i got charged $20. I will say coffee was ok but pastries were amazing! So i wasnt too upset that i was charged because front desk did not mention it was not free. Parking was a little annoying but doable. So all in all for this place to not even have a pool it was way over priced for a sunday/Monday.

Nice but noisy

The room was nice and clean. It wasn't clear to me on the web site that there is a $16 charge to park. The hotel was noisy. People walking in the room above, able to hear their TV and voices past midnight. Also people talking loudly in the parking lot at midnight.

Best of SLO!

This was such an amazing trip. They had such sweet details, from coffee and pastries delivered to your door to the most delicious caramels on your way out. The room was clean and beautiful and it was so central to all the best parts of SLO! I was recommended to stay here by someone and I am SO glad we did.

Great place for our family to meet

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely hotel. The room were comfortable. All of us slept so well. The rooms were clean. We thoroughly enjoyed the high quality soaps, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. The bonus was were the great tasting pastries and coffee in the morning. We will definitely come back again
