Great weekend get away.

Easy check in. Family friendly. Pool area was great. Room was comfortable. Very close to Cedar Point and the Sports Force complex.

Extremely convenient to Cedar Point, close to food/drink options. This is a Holiday Inn-type hotel that caters to families. If you're going to Cedar Point, it's pretty much a perfect location. Expect a long walk to the lobby (the hotel is sprawling) but there are luggage trolleys near each non-lobby side entrance, so I recommend parking there. Housekeeping did not service our room while we were there, even though I asked them to and we were out of the rooms by 10 am each day. They left towels and emptied trash, but the beds were left unmade. That was kind of a disappointment, but not a big one. Overall this has been our go-to location for park visits and a nice experience.

Some concerns with this one!

Let’s start with the positives— The room was clean, and the bed was super comfy. BUT there were negatives. The first problem was at the room smelled like stale cigarette smoke and the hotel has a no smoking policy. It seemed to be coming through the air-conditioning unit. I called the front desk on two occasions and spoke to two different staff and they said someone would be over to check it out because I was also concerned about getting a cleaning fee charge if they assumed I was smoking, but no one came the entire night. Frustrating. The issue the following morning was more concerning. My son was still asleep and I was still in bed and housekeeping began knocking on our room door a couple minutes after 9 AM. I got out of bed and decent enough to open the door and as I was opening, the door housekeeping was bending down with their key card to enter the room. There is absolutely no reason they should have been entering the room. Check out was not for another two hours. This is a safety and privacy concern and is extremely alarming. I shared both of my concerns later that morning as I was checking out, but nothing was done. We will not be staying at this hotel again.

Several travel team at this hotel at the sane time I stayed. Groups of 30 plus kids running, screaming and playing in the hallways for hours upon hours. Too damn loud for anyone to sleep or relax. Finally called the front desk, kids still didnt get out of the halls. Threatened to get the cops involved. Its ridiculous that staff and parents cant handle these kids. Ruined my entire stay!

Staff very friendly, great if staying with kids. Rooms were a little small. We stayed with a group, called three weeks ahead to get our rooms together. We were told everything was good to go, Rooms were "partied together" when we got there front desk couldn't find it in the computer. Tried but couldn't get is together. We were clear across the hotel. Toliet would not flush, they tried to fix it but had to call a plumber. Refrigerator would not get cold, they did come and replace it for us.
