The view was fantastic- the pictures don’t lie. And the setting was so serene. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen adequately stocked. The futon cushions could be updated, but were still quite comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay.

Good place if you only care about the lake and not surroundings or amenities.I want to be careful with this review, as I am sure this cabin would be lovely for some. It is rustic. The lake is gorgeous and the deck is absolutely on the lake. There’s also a fire pit area right by the lake. The surrounding area is very rural. There is no cute town to shop or cute place to get ice cream. There are very real people living very real lives in the area. If you are a minority or gay you may not feel all that welcomed.

An incredible stay at this beautiful lakefront house. The property was spotless, well-maintained, and is located both on a quiet street and on a peaceful cove on the lake. The spot is stunning - ducks and loons in the water right in front of the house. There is plenty of space for the whole family to spread out, relax and enjoy.Inside the house is super comfortable and functional - felt like we were visiting friends and not at a rental. It is clear that much care has been taken to make guests feel at home. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could need (
and we cook!). Communication with the host was excellent throughout our stay, they are SUPER nice! Absolutely no complaints during our trip. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a quiet, comfortable retreat by the lake. Will not hesitate to book again!

A nice cottage, not the best option for kids

This house was in a lovely location with a great view, dock and boat access. Overall the home was okay, there was dog hair all over the upholstery and the kitchen supplies was in poor condition and pretty sparse. May not be the best option if you have kids and plan to cook a lot of meals. The outdoor grill and fire pit were great and overall the check in process was easy.

The location on the lake was great and very peaceful! The space was perfect for what we needed. The downstairs bedrooms were a bit chilly so bring extra blankets if you get cold.

Serene family vacation

The house was comfortable, clean and a good size for a family of 5. We loved the location, waking up everyday to have tea by the lake, we roasted marshmellows in the fire pit and we saw 2 loons and heard them calling, it was a peaceful experience! We are hoping to stay there again in the future!

Truly magical getaway

Picture perfect!

We had a lovely 3 night stay. The views are incredible. We enjoyed cooking in and sitting by the fire pit. So perfect we never left. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds were very comfortable. We rented a kayak for the weekend and made great use of the dock. The bonus was this property is dog friendly!

Wonderful little get-away!

We rented the house to celebrate my mother's 60th birthday with a small family vacation and it was perfect! We were able to bring my mom's dog and the four of us had a wonderful and relaxing time. The house was great and is in a great location. The view is even better in person!! The only issue was that the heat was on 55 when we arrived so it took a few hours for the house to warm up - but it did no problem and the electric fireplace helped a bunch! I highly recommend staying here.

Wonderful stay at a house on Estes Lake

Spacious 3 bedroom house (2 queens, 1 double) on Estes Lake with fantastic views. We found the house very clean and comfortable. Wish we had our kayaks with us! Would definitely stay here again!

amazing view

Property manager was quick to respond when texting about the lack of cleanliness and broken faucet. Unfortunately, the house was just not very clean. Lots of stuff left over in cupboards, crumbs in the futons, dusty ceiling fans, smudged windows, stuff like that. The house itself was perfect for 5 people and the water views were absolutely stunning.

August Vacation

We had a great time at the property. Kids swam (despite the water weeds), nice fire pit, great views, and only 30 minutes to the beach for a beach day. There were plenty of towels and there were linens on the beds. Beautiful view and sunsets. Air conditioning was an added bonus!

Had a wonderful time

Had a great stay. The house was clean and rooms accurate as listed. Three bedrooms with Twin beds and pullout couch in living room. We brought kayaks and enjoyed cruising the entire lake, and many rivers. The deck was perfect for hanging out and enjoying the beautiful sunset. One issue we had was trash removal. There were five barrels outside that were all full when we arrived. I messaged VRBO, early in the week, and VACASA on Friday. We departed Saturday with trash overfilled. The lake was great for kayaking and swimming. One thing to know is the lake bottom is squishy. When swimming off the dock, if you stand up the ground is muddy. We would kayak and raft out a little further so we could swim without touching the ground. The house is lovely.

Good but depends what you are looking got

The property is right on the water which is great but the water is very weedy if you want to swim and not as clean as other lakes we have stayed at. Great Lake for kayaking and boating. One of the kids got bit a lot in the lake by spiders on her face. The chairs around the fire pit are pretty broken. We used our own and that was nice. Inside, the upstairs was fairly clean. There is only AC in the living room. The downstairs and upstairs bedroom gets hot. I would suggest bringing extra fans. They do provide a few. They have a lot of kitchen supplies you need which is nice and a big table for everyone to sit at. The fireplace is probably very nice during the winter. The futon couches are hard as rock! Not comfortable to sit on and definitely not comfortable to sleep on. Downstairs is nice but it was not as clean as the upstairs. The sunsets were beautiful looking from the inside sliders, deck and dock. It really depends what you are looking for. We would not go back because it was not as enjoyable to swim in and pricey for the summer months. However I’m sure it’s great in the off season.

The neighborhood was quiet, we got there early because they said we could check in for free but when we got there the keys were still locked up so we had wasted half an hour trying to get to the house before our family event but that was time wasted as it did not get resolved until we got back and could then get the keys at 7 o’clock

Great Lake view, very peaceful. The house worked well for 3 couples and 2 small children. Living room is a little small for that many people but not an issue for us. We would definitely visit again!
