A beautiful retreat!

The place is wonderful! Two of us best friends had a get away for Easter week and it was so relaxing. Tom and Eileen left a plate of fresh-baked goodies and a chilled bottle of wine for us, then a few days later a cute carton of fresh-laid eggs. We felt so pampered! The weather was constantly shifting, but we found the property allowed for everything. We really liked the bird-feeder, and sweeping views. Pool and spa were lovely. So easy, and the hosts seemed very amenable. Will visit again!

Lovely Cottage, Lovely Views

We loved staying in this beautiful cottage! We are a family of four with 11 and 14 year old children and we were there for a week. The expansive views make the cottage feel bigger than it is. Although we didn’t do much cooking, we prepared simple meals and we had everything we needed. For those looking for info about the kitchen, it was well appointed and lovely. We also enjoyed the bird feeder that’s in the perfect place to provide a show while you’re having breakfast. The owners made us feel very welcome and were responsive when we had questions, and we had plenty of privacy on their shared property. The home is about 5-15 minutes from most major attractions and it felt like a retreat returning there after a day of activities. We hope to stay there again!

A Perfect Retreat for Families – Highly Recommended!

We had an incredible stay at this VRBO property, and I can't recommend it enough! The cottage was not only beautiful but also thoughtfully designed to make the most of both the indoor and outdoor spaces. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed with the layout – the placement of windows and doors provided excellent privacy while still allowing us to enjoy the gorgeous California weather. The floorplan was perfect for our family, creating an open and spacious feel without ever feeling cramped, even on the one rainy day we had, when we cozied up inside.The kids, ages 11 and 13, absolutely loved exploring the large property. They spent hours picking fresh oranges and lemons from the trees, feeding the birds, and watching the rabbits. It was such a peaceful, nature-filled experience for them – a perfect blend of fun and relaxation.While the location initially seemed a bit far from everything, it turned out to be fantastic. Most of the restaurants we dined at were only 5-10 minutes away, making it easy to explore the area without any hassle.This property would also be ideal for a longer stay. The comfortable, well-thought-out design, combined with the beautiful surroundings, made it feel like a true home away from home. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, family-friendly retreat.Whether you're looking for a weekend getaway or a longer stay, this property is a gem. We couldn't have asked for a better expereince.

Could Not Have Been Better!

We had a wonderful time on this vacation and our stay here was wonderful!Tom & Eileen were fantastic hosts who answered what few questions we had very promptly. The check in/checkout process was easy and uneventful. All appliances were modern and in perfect working order and we loved the W/D set up. Great parking with wonderful privacy. The views of the ocean and surroundings were exquisite and I loved having the bird feeder right outside of the property. Would definitely book with them again!

Wonderful Visit

T & E provided a wonderful home so that I could totally relax and get some work done during my two week stay. The entire home is comfortable and easy to relax in. The kitchen is well stocked and easy to use. Beds have the perfect level of comfort. Everything worked well in the bathrooms. I will definitely stay again and again!

Amazing Stay!

The cottage was simply amazing! It had everything we needed for a great extended weekend. The place is immaculate and fully stocked with anything you might need. We enjoyed a quiet evening by the fire pit and also took advantage of the shared pool and hot tub. Would highly recommend!

Wonderful Santa Barbara Vacation!

What a lovely cottage! My family enjoyed our stay in this peaceful Santa Barbara guest cottage so much. Close proximity to all that SB has to offer and the bonus of a pool and jacuzzi for when you want to be lazy and stay in. The owners were great communicators and the accommodations were lovely. Would stay again in the future!

Heavenly Cottage

Santa Barbara offers great hiking and beaching and a perfect home-base for exploring places like Montecito, Ojai and Simi Valley. This scenic and peaceful cottage in the foothills is close to La Cumbre Plaza and all that Santa Barbara offers. We enjoyed coffee in the morning in the beautiful sunroom while watching the birds, and then returning to the well-appointed cottage to make dinner in the full kitchen and/or grill on the patio. The beds and bedrooms were perfect, and privacy was no issue at all. This experience was a 10 out of 10 with no problems at all.

Lovely house with a view

We spent 4 nights in the very comfortable cottage. Our hosts were extremely helpful and communicative. The house was well-supplied, clean and quiet. Also, the views were amazing, both distant to the ocean and nearby to the birds at the feeder. We would love to stay here again.

We had everything we could ask for in a place to stay. So much thought and attention to detail went into designing and decorating this lovely cottage. It was so easy to take care of while providing us with all the room and amenities to dine in, enjoy the beautiful sunshine on the patio, and even to watch satellites launch into space. 4 adults stayed 5 nights. The home was sparkling clean and well appointed. The cabinet had basic spices and oils. The refrig also had some basic necessities. Amazing property and hosts

We stayed here for about a month while my wife was recovering from surgery in Santa Barbara. The property is amazing and has everyone one could want especially an amazing sun room with views of the Pacific ocean and sunset, laundry, A/C, and a really sweet nook to work out of with a nice office chair and wired ethernet. The location was perfect, about 15 minutes from anything you could want to get to - restaurants, attractions, groceries, etc. The neighborhood was fun to walk in with amazing views and a good hill climbing workout! The hosts were awesome. They live next door, and provided their cell phone numbers, and were amazingly kind, responsive, and accommodating. We've stayed at VRBO/AirBnbs in the US and abroad, and this was the best property we've ever stayed at, and we'd come back in heartbeat.
