My family and I had an awesome Spring Break while visiting Casita Eco-Glamping. Happened to run across it while looking at lodging on VRBO for our upcoming trip. Thought it looked nice and would give it a try. We were happy that we did! The location is great- tucked in the foothills but still close to anything you would need, including State St, stores, restaurants. The tent itself is on a large property with other rental properties, but tucked in the back amongst the trees, so we didn’t really see anyone except the occasional workers. The garden/property is very lovely and well kept, and there’s even a nice view of the nearby reservoir. There are many steps to get to the tent so pack lightly. The tent itself is spacious and beds were very comfortable! Wi-Fi can be a little spotty, but keep in mind you are in a tent! Inside there is heater/AC if it gets hot/cold, kettle, toaster/air fryer, and even a mini fridge. Unfortunately, not enough utensils there when we arrived so we had to share the first night (got in late and too lazy/hungry to drive somewhere to get some spoons). I didn’t think to pack those because the website said utensils were available? But no big deal, we made it work. It was nice coming back to peacefulness of the tent after a day of exploring. Nights were calm and we were lulled to sleep by sounds of the surrounding nightlife. Overall, we had a great experience and would 100% do it again!
