It was near the beach, but otherwise it was just a bed-bug infested motel. The staff member who checked me in was not helpful regarding my concerns and would not put me in a different room without trying to charge me an additional $450. The "VIP perk" for my $1500 stay was the cheapest bottle of wine possible - a Charles Shaw chardonnay that costs $3.50 at Trader Joe's. The coffee in the lobby was awful and there was no complimentary continental breakfast.

Great value for Santa Barbara.

Very convenient motel one block from beach with views of ocean. Very nice staff. Clean and up to date rooms. One and half mile distance to Amtrak station and State Street . City buses and trolley one block from motel. Great value considering the top dollar gotten by resort hotels. Small refrigerator in room…a nice treat. Short walk to supermarket. All in all a great value.
