We are truly grateful we decided to spend a few days in Española at this amazing, eclectic house.
The home is filled with so many vintage items we were spying new pieces each day.
The bed we used was extremely comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. The bathroom was clean, well lit and had good toilet paper - lol - one of my pet peeves.
Our hostess, Kathryn, was a delight. She gave us a tour of the historic church and told us of her restoration of the historic plaza. Kathryn is a gifted artist and her knowledge of local art and history is fascinating.
My hubby and I both needed time to unwind and recharge and this was the perfect place to do just that.
I will admit that when we first drove up to the rental, we were a bit like, “Oh my gosh! Is this really what we booked?” The area to the left of the house looked rather run down and there was a “BEWARE OF DOG” sign tacked to a neglected fence. Quite a bit of vegetation blocked the pathway to the front door. This was quite intimidating at first, but once we were settled in, we decided it was one of the best places we’ve ever stayed.
