Le cottage historique de Shepherd est l’un des premiers cottages anciens de «Old Grayton Beach», créé dans les années 1880. Ce chalet a été mis à jour avec une nouvelle cuisine, le chauffage central et l'air, en mettant l'accent sur la préservation de ses caractéristiques d'origine. C'est un petit chalet et est idéal pour une escapade romantique en couple.

Le chalet est niché dans de grands pins et entouré de palmeraies avec un grand porche avec balançoire et des chaises à bascule. C'est un endroit idéal pour se détendre et se rendre facilement à pied à Gulf Beach, au Western Lake, au Red Bar Restaurant, au Zoo Gallery, au magasin général, à l'Hibiscus Guest House & Cafe, au café Grayton, etc. Vous pouvez également louer des vélos au magasin General et profiter de kilomètres de pistes cyclables non pavées traversant le parc national de Grayton Beach, de l'aquarelle, du bord de mer, etc.

Underwhelmed with the stay
The cabin was lovely and clean. However we were cold, even with the heat running a lot. Lots of cold coming in through the doors.There was a blackout for a few hours on the second day, which did not help the situation. We understand that is not the owner fault. But when we realized after the electricity was restored, that we had no hot water to shower, we were offered no solution by the manager. We paid a lot of money for this rental and don't feel like we got the value for what we paid. I would not go back.

Grayt Beach “Camp”
The cottage was perfect for our getaway and we had bikes delivered to the property right before we checked in and enjoyed exploring the area, State Parks, and the beautiful beaches that surround Grayton. We loved the outdoor shower and grill and the front porch swing was perfect for happy hour. We will definitely be back!

Cozy cabin with a tin roof porch
We enjoyed staying in this Grayton beach historic home. There is a lot to love about this quirky cabin. The Grayton shuttle makes this location more desirable as they pick you up and drop you off right across the street. The drivers are friendly and helpful - a wonderful service. I’m not giving a 5 star bc the kitchen is lacking and so is lighting on the back porch. The washer and dryer are outside making it difficult to do laundry in the dark or in the rain- the only time i want to do laundry. If you don’t plan to cook or do laundry on your holiday (i hope you don’t) this there is not a thing wrong with this gem! If it should rain while you are there you will love the tin roof on the front porch!

Very cute…mostly satisfied.
My main issue is I did not realize it was on a busy road. From the photos it looks like it’s in the woods. A few easy fixes would improve rating. Close to great bars and restaurants plus beach although r weather was wet and windy

Ideal location for anniversary celebration!
Being in this super cute cottage and walking to the beach and local restaurants for quick food or live music was easy and ideal. The additional outdoor shower was a bonus for in-between beach trips. The locals and visitors were all very friendly. I highly recommend this experience.

Good location, needs some TLC
We loved being in Grayton Beach. Cottage was cozy with lots of charm and we used our bikes to get around. Bed was very uncomfortable and should be replaced. The kitchen tools need to be refreshed: 1 new baking pan, a couple of more glasses and a measuring cup would be useful. Cooking is challenging because the smoke alarm is right next to the stove and boiling water made the alarm sound. Beach towels would be awfully nice too, since this is a beach house. If the price were lower, maybe we wouldn't remark on these things. But at over $350/night, it seems reasonable to expect. Anyone booking this should note that it works well for 2 average sized adults as the bed fills the entire bedroom. Worked fine for us. Also, don't bring clothes that need hanging - there are no hangers and nowhere to hang them. So....expect upscale glamping in paradise and enjoy. We had a great week.

Adorable vintage cottage
This cottage was so unique, very clean and decorated like someone’s house. Lovely place, great location, good for couples. The management company was also on point, never had to reach out to them, they made sure I had all the information I needed before I even thought about it. Great stay!

Perfect little cottage!
Loved this little cottage for a short beach getaway. It is so close to walk or ride bikes to the beach, restaurants and shops. We love biking so this property was perfect. The porch is a wonderful relaxing spot for coffee. The only suggestion would be to get a new mattress. While it is not terrible it could definitely stand improvement.

Fantastic everything. Love this place. Just small issues. Would stay here again.
What a beautiful and truly quaint property. Nicely adorned for it's size and style and layout as well. The front porch is awesome, both rocking chairs and a porch swing. Perfect for 2 people. Great location to the restaurants and shops just a few yards away. Nice short walk to the ocean and many other great restaurants. Make sure you hit the Red Bar and AJ's. Only 2 issues were; 1. The TV, no instructions on how to use it, and no channel guide. Had to have someone come over to show us, and they had trouble too. 2. Bedroom and bathroom are at opposite ends of the unit. So its a trek if you get up to "go"! But, it's not a deal breaker. Just be aware. We hope to stay here again.
