Hotel staff could have cared less that there were guests around. Checking in was an annoyance because we interrupted their dinner, later they were watching Fox news loud through the lobby commenting out loud to some pretty controversial things. The morning staff were just on their phones not paying attention to guest.Also we booked this hotel based on "queen beds" and our room definitely only had fullsize but they were sold out so we couldn't even change rooms.

Tru is truly a delight

Beautiful, modern hotel. You have got to try the Santee Seafood Bistro. Local eatery with the best hush puppys and fried chicken livers ever!

It didn’t feel like a Hilton

After having stayed at other Hilton properties, we were a little surprised to see how bland the room was. Not much furniture, nothing on the walls, tubi streaming service on the tv, extremely slow internet and hvac system that kept the heat at 75…because there are so many options, I think I would stay elsewhere, if given a choice.

Great find for an overnight on the road. Comfy clean fun vibe right off the highway. We usually have to give on clean and comfy on these quick road trip overnights but not here. Loved it.
