Staff was lovely and went out of their way. Our flight arrived late but they waited at the Inn to check us in. Though we didn’t stay in the main house like planned we stayed across the street and it was very private. Very walkable area.
We liked staying in this classic , charming inn.
It’s a great location; close to River st and to many good sights , shops, and restaurants.
The staff was very friendly and hospitable.
The room was very nice and had plenty of antique furniture; the bed was comfortable and we slept well, but it was high from the ground and creaked a lot very easily. Overall, very pleased with our stay at 17 hundred 90 inn in the historic district of Savannah, GA. Thank you😎
We enjoyed the stay very much. All staff was excellent at check in, the bar and the restaurant…food was excellent! The condition of the room we stayed in could use some sprucing up. It’s a historic building, so it being “old” is understood going into it, but there was ceiling and floor damage, walls could use repainting in many spots and area rugs could use replacing or deep clean. That said, the room was clean, no bad odors, and we did overall enjoy the stay. Wish they had a safe in the room, but wasn’t a deal breaker. Would stay again!
17Hundred90 Inn was great. The staff was top notch and room was clean. Location is convenient and centrally located to get to all the touristy places in this historic section of Savannah. Only gripe I had was the mattress in the room we stayed in was horrible and needs to be replaced. No excuse to have an old beat up mattress from what felt like 1800’s in a room where the main thing you use the room for is sleep. I love authenticity but once you have a mini fridge and flat screen that goes out the window. Hopefully that was an anomaly. 4 out of 5 for our stay. Will definitely come back.
The man who checked us in, Chris, was fabulous! Helped carry our luggage to our room, great assistance in suggesting where to go, what to see! It’s a very old building but charming! Dinner was good, great atmosphere!!

Pluses and minuses
The restaurant and bar are great. The staff are incredible. The location is terrific. Our room, however, was badly in need of refurbishment (carpet, bathroom, even ceiling).
We have stayed at the hotel before, a long time age, before Covid. We anxiously looked forward to our return and we were not disappointed. Due to the amount of ice and snow on the ground and sidewalks in front of the main building, we were placed in a gorgeous room around the corner in "the pink house". It was beautifully appointed, comfortable and perfect for us. Due to an unforeseen medical situation, we extended our stay by one night with no problem at all. We dined one night in the restaurant, and the service there was top-notch. If I can make one suggestion, it would be to check the rear stairs leading to "the pink house". A weld on the lower left side of the railing appears to have broken. I didn't notice it until we were leaving, and the office was not open yet.
The area is within walking distance to shopping, dining and many other activities.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and had an amazing dinner on our anniversary.
Ray helped us get settled and made sure we had easy access to patking. Scott, in the bar, was an absolute delight and helped me design a delicious cocktail. Patrick, at the desk, was friendly and super helpful. The room was cozy and pretty, rhe bed was so comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay.
Great location in Savannah's historic district. Free off street parking was a plus. Restaurant downstairs is a great place for meal as well as nightcap.
