This lovely casa is beautifully designed and we had a very nice ten days. The recommended airport transfer are brothers who were both very friendly, excellent English skills, and helped move luggage from car to house. As the owner says in Welcome Information, the driveway is very steep and very dark at night. My wife and I are in our sixties and it was doable, but challenging. The security light on the driveway was broken until our last day. The master bedroom is nice size and has plenty of storage and a very nice bathroom. The 2nd bedroom is much smaller, which we were surprised by. We had a second couple join us for a week, and were fine with the size. It would ideal for a family with children. A double and a loft double too. The walk to town is fairly steep as well, about ten minutes on cobblestone roads. Beautiful neighborhood called Gringo Hill. The town is amazing. Old Mexico style. Small restaurants and bars, not as much food variety as other more touristy locations. The mix of surfers, tourists and locals is wonderful especially in the Plaza at night. The beach and town walking venders are pervasive. Learn “No, gracias” Overall we loved Sayulita but will probably stay in town our next visit. The Barefoot House pool is lovely, and we’re sure once they repair the solar heating pipes the water will be much warmer.
