Banana Cabana for the win!
The Cabana is a deliberately curated step into the tropics. Truly delightful. Owing to the cold PNW winters, the heated floors were a real treat! We will definitely bookmark this property for the next time we find ourselves in Seattle. Easy street parking but a great location - close to all the things.

Relaxing oasis
For our 10 year anniversary my husband and I decided to take the train trip from Kansas City MO to Seattle that we had talked about for years. I had looked at at least a dozen places to stay in the Ballard/Fremont. I just kept coming back to the listing for the Banana Cabana. The listing does not begin to do this cozy little cabin justice. The character in the cabin and the garden is what drew me in, but when we actually checked in after 3 days of travel, the little things like the comfy king size bed, the relaxing records, the relaxing lighting and the heated floors were the best start to our stay in Seattle. Our stay just got better when on the second day of our stay we enjoyed dinner in the garden after a full day of sight seeing. Our third day was our anniversary, and after we had dinner out, we enjoyed drinks in the garden with the amazing fountain going. The soaker tub was most certainly another perfect highlight to our stay. It was so great to relax our aching legs from all our sight seeing walking. I could go on and on with this review but all in all it was the amazing attention to the little details everywhere that just made the stay perfect. It was definitely one of the best rentals ever. It is clear that Alice and her husband have put great thought and care into this place. It was also perfectly located to everything. We would definitely stay again if we ever go back. Thank you so much for sharing this space!

One of the best stays ever!
This guest house truly has everything! The host has gone above and beyond to make sure everything is well stocked, well appointed, and cozy. We loved having our morning coffee in the sitting area with records playing. We will definitely be coming back here if we are ever in the area again!

Perfect stay
The Banana Cabana was one of the best places we have ever stayed! I wish we had more time in the area. We brought our newborn and there was a perfect amount of space for a pack n play next to the bed. The bath and heated floors were amazing, and the host provided snacks and wine. The cabana is 10 minutes walking from local breweries and 30 minutes walk from Ballard. There's also a very clean and quick bus to and from the main square.

Convenient location, oasis-like experience
Great destination in West Woodland. Convenient walk to grocery store in Fremont. Bus stops, around the corner, took us to all destinations near and far. Also a strong Lyft presence. The VRBO unit was beautiful appointed and offered a retreat-like experience. We also used the backyard sitting areas for r and r. The owner promptly answered all inquiries before and during our stay. No noise it was a quiet experience. I would welcome a return opportunity to stay here. Thank you, Alice.

My partner and I had a great time at the banana cabana! We would definitely return when going back to Seattle. The place was very cute and imaginative and well though out. The items provided by the host were very nice extra touches and we felt at home. It was a short bus ride to get to the downtown area.

Amazing!
We do quite a bit of traveling and this has been, by far, my favorite place to stay. It was clean, comfortable and almost takes you to a magical place. The owner definitely did everything right; decor, appliances, extras! The only thing I would note is that it is one open space. The bathroom is even open on top. This was only a little issue for us bc my husband is an early riser and I stay up late. Couldn’t really turn on a light or take a shower without the other noticing. BUT I would still stay here again over and over. It was that amazing. Love. Love. Love.
