We had a wonderful time. The cabin was beautiful and super clean. There was 9 of us and plenty of space for everyone. We had a blast one the Fogg family sledding hill. The cabin is close to town as well. Will definitely be back.

My family loved the cabin. We got to enjoy the fire pit, it was close to China peak, went on a hike on its own land. Has its own snow slope when there is snow. Kitchen was fully loaded.

New Years Mountain Fun
Me and my family had such a great time in this mountain home. The home definitely felt secluded, we felt like we had the whole mountain to ourselves. We also woke up to snow on Saturday morning!! We honestly can’t think of anything that would’ve made our stay better. Everything was well stocked and the home had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay.

Beautiful cabin, fully stocked with all of the kitchen essentials. We spent alot of time on the deck and near the fire pit. It's a quiet and peacefull retreat that feels secluded, but still close to town. We loved staying here.

The house was gorgeous and it was so quiet, have nothing bad to say. All the kids had a blast and the little town was really close. The only thing i would say would be when you are using the gps don't stop when it tells you you need to go further up the road.

Serenity in the woods
This property was lovely. Surrounded by trees and streams, we enjoyed total privacy and a sense of tranquility. Located on 10 acres, it was private and perfectly suited for our needs as a family of 5. The house hit all the marks for a nice mountain vacation. It held up to the 4C standard- Clean, Classy, Cabiny, and Comfortable. Clearly this is a loved home. We stayed for 5 nights in mid-April. While there was still plenty of snow for sledding, the property was easy to access. The kitchen was well-appointed and one of the best we've enjoyed at a rental. We cooked 4 out of the 5 nights we stayed. The kitchen, dining, and living areas are all well-connected and conducive for family socializing. We enjoyed the games and puzzles and TV. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space for us to spread out. Snowball makers were left out for the kids which they made quick use of. It is a short drive to town and about 30min to China Peak. After a few days on the mountain, the washer and dryer were much appreciated. This was voted by our family as our #1 favorite in the Shaver Lake area. I sincerely hope to stay again sometime.

Perfect!
A wonderful cabin tucked away in its own peaceful paradise! This comfortable, clean, perfect-sized cabin is cozy and makes the renter feel like they’re home. It was great to play in the snow, build a snowman, and sled down all the hills without having to leave the property. We had a great time and would like to make it an annual trip. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us!

Great winter getaway
The property is beautiful and peaceful, the house is comfortable and feels like a real home, and the host is wonderful and responsive. The quiet, extensive property for exploring, snow play, and sledding meant we never had to worry about packing up for our toddler and loading everyone into the car. The perfect place for a relaxing, stress free winter vacation.

We had the best stay, the property and home was beautiful. We were caught in a winter storm with snow and are agent was able to accommodate are arrival and was extremely helpful. Great communication!! We have stayed at several rentals in Shaver and this is definitely one of our top experiences!!! Solitude in the Cedars lived up to it's name! It provided the snowy winter solitude we needed so much after a busy holiday season! The cabin is spacious yet cozy and the windows looked out to the beautiful Shaver forest with not another cabin in sight. The sled hill was a huge hit with the kids and provided endless entertainment. The host was a delight to work with and we are already planning our next trip!

Amazing family snow trip!
I wish I could give more than 5 stars! This place is beautiful and so perfect for families. The rooms are nice and spacious and everything is clean, updated and cutely decorated. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we could possibly need. Not to mention the property. It's not far off the main road, yet you feel completely private with your own land to play on. There was even our very own sled hill. This was the highlight with our 2 toddlers as they could go out and play in the snow and sled without having to drive somewhere. Ashleigh was a delight - super responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend! We are already trying to figure out when we can book again.
