My wife and I stayed here a few nights as we wanted a quick lake trip. We are real familar with Lake Keowee, and actually rented the house next door a couple of years ago.
The home is on a nice place on the lake and is in the same cove as Warpath access point which is convenient. It is essentially halfway up the lake, so you can access the larger south end near town, or the more remote North end with similar time in a boat. The three distinct levels of the house allow for privacy if you had a larger group. The main level works for meals, but the lower level is the most comfortable for sitting and hanging out. The outdoor areas are nice.
Please be aware that the mandatory fitness program may not work for you if you are mobility impaired. (the stairs to the lake). My wife and I are not spring chickens (65+) and we made it OK, but you need to be in decent shape. It was far enough to make us carefully plan going down to the dock. (99 steps)
Overall a nice trip.
My small runabout (18' bowrider) fit easily at the dock but you might be challenged to get a larger boat in at the current lake level (-3'). It really depends how good a captain you are
The kitchen appliances were fine, and it was well-equipped for what we needed. Mostly just cooked breakfast. Neither the ice maker in the refrigerator nor the ice machine in the "bar" downstairs worked. So remember to buy ice on the way. The grill looked good, but we didn't use it.
