Perfect place!
We had a great stay. It was just the right size for the 3 of us. It's an easy walk to the beach. The view from the top porch is excellent. Communication with the host was excellent too. We would definitely stay again!

An older property with good AC and bathroom
The hosts have made good improvements to this once upon a time fishing shack. It is small but nice. The owners are very accommodating should you want to bring your dog. However, the gate on the deck (necessary for dog visits) started coming apart while we were there. It appeared to be poor carpentry as there was only one nail connecting the bottom corner and with one or two storms it let loose. An easy fix. My only complaint, and this is across VRBO not only with this propertry, is we are charged a substantial cleaning fee and yet we have to do quite a bit of cleaning before we leave. So what exactly are the cleaners doing?

Beach vacation 2024
This was our second time staying at this adorable cottage right on the beach. We throughly enjoyed our stay. We cooked and/or made every meal except one at the house. The kitchen is well stocked with necessary tools. The house is comfortable and nicely decorated. The top deck is our favorite place to have an evening cocktail! Hope to see this cottage again soon!

A wonderful couples getaway!
We enjoyed our stay here very much! While I would say that it is a small beach house and wouldn't be great for a large family. It's 100% perfect if it's just you and your spouse with an infant or toddler. We definitely enjoyed the atmosphere and the beach was right there, less than a 30 second walk!

A great place to stay!
My daughter (19) and I and our dog stayed here for a short vacation. It was perfect! The house has everything you could need for you and your dog, and the location couldn't be better. It was so clean, quiet and the host was amazing with communication. We would definitely stay here again!

Spring Getaway!
We had an amazing week at this fantastic property! The location is perfect, right on the water. We could hear the ocean every morning when we woke up and every night when we went to sleep. And the deck is really all you need for enjoying the beauty and the peace of the ocean. The home was comfortable, clean and well equipped. The owner was so wonderful to deal with. We will be back soon!

Perfect beach getaway
Really enjoyed our stay here. Loved the 180 view from the upper deck… great for sunrises and just relaxing. This cozy beachfront home was just right for us. We will be coming back! Oh and Stacy was such a welcoming host … super responsive!

Very clean and comfortable beach house for an off-season getaway. The sunny and warm weather in November was a bonus. Great view of the beach from the elevated deck. Convenient beach access. Communication with the property manager was excellent. We hope to stay here again!

What a cute quaint cottage on the water; very clean with a beautiful view and easy access to the beach. This place provided a fantastic backdrop for a wedding proposal on the beach! It will be always be a special place for us ❤️

Cozy Ocean Front Cottage
This was the perfect cozy cottage for us! Clean and I loved all of the charming furniture and decor. The sun deck was amazing with a beautiful ocean front view and only steps from the beach acess. Very easy to come in and out during the day from the beach. There was also a gate on the deck so our beagle could hang outside with us without being on a leash. Will definitely be back! 😊

Wonderful Stay at the Beach
This was a quick trip for us but will be one of our favorite beach trips. Being right on the beach was a game changer, and for the two of us and our dog this place was perfect. The hosts were incredibly helpful, and we hope to stay here again in the future.

Perfect location, wonderful house.
We loved this property. The location was perfect, the beach was not crowded at all. The house was very clean and it looks to have been very recently renovated. The house is nicely decorated. The best part to me was the top deck that overlooks the ocean. We would take a long walk on the beach in the evening and then come back and sit on the deck. Definitely recommend.

We were very pleased with our accommodations. The house is conveniently located on the island and was super convenient to beach access. This was our dog's first visit to the ocean and we were so thankful that it was so easy to get to and from the ocean with him. We look forward to return visits. Thank you!

Relaxing Week on Beach
Check in was a breeze and we even were able to get in a little early which we very much appreciated! The house was clean with the exception of the queen bed skirt. It was covered in black dog hair. The location was quiet and perfect for watching the beach on the deck. The wooden gate doesn't close without you lifting it up to latch. Not a big deal, but is a pain if you have hands full of groceries, beach gear, etc. One afternoon, we left our teenager while we ran to get a few extra groceries and she called pretty frightened when a strange man came onto the deck. I messaged the homeowner to see if they had sent someone. They had. REALLY would have liked a heads up someone was going to be coming. I had anxiety the rest of the afternoon and didn't feel comfortable leaving my teens there alone anymore. We really enjoyed ourselves and if we come back to Topsail would stay here again. The beach was clean and enjoyable. Thank you for providing our family with some great beach memories.
