Lots of big things right with this place; some little things wrong.
Great location, nice sunset view, friendly property manager, and plenty of bedrooms for a group. The kitchen is well put together and looks to have been recently refreshed. There’s a good selection of pots, pans, utensils, baking sheets, and whatnot. Lots of spare linens and blankets. Hot tub! And it’s super convenient to Snowshoe proper but you’re relatively isolated.
The main access between the floors is a narrow spiral staircase; some people may be more comfortable going outside to go between floors.
Let none of the following detract from your willingness to rent.
The living room furniture is kind of worn out and a little busted in general. The AV system is a horror show if you’re not willing to fiddle with things. When we were there, it looks like they were in process of a remodel as the valley-facing windows had no blinds and there was exposed wood. The gas fireplace is janky and not combusting right; we basically turned it off.
Opportunity for improvement - put in a picnic table on the deck! It’s lovely out there in summer.
Would stay again!
