The property was amazing, unfortunately the customer service was not. I arrived at the front desk and was not greeted nor acknowledged for a good 30 seconds. Even as I stood right in front of the employee. Once she was ready she was rude and not helpful at all. She didn’t even tell me about the $30 food credit. I was told upon check out from a different and nice employee about it. So thankfully I was able to use it.

Staff seemed “put out” when we has any issues, often said basically ‘that’s not my department.” We had 2 rooms and the heating and air didn’t work in one for 2 days. Staff kept saying there’s nothing they could do but we persisted and they finally sent someone who fixed it in about 30 minutes. The entire lobby was closed for a New Year’s party for only ages 21 & upon New Year’s Eve but we could watch & hear the whole thing from our balcony. Shouldn’t market as a “family” resort when NYE was closed to anyone under 21. Looked like there were very few people there anyway. Bars don’t open til 4. We would have gladly spent $ on drinks there if bar was open earlier but had to go elsewhere. Hot tub was NASTY.

This hotel is located near the Heavenly Gondola, so it's very easy to walk there and take a ride up to the mountain. It's also close to all the restaurants and shops. On New Year's Eve, they offer lots of celebrations, including concerts, shows and fireworks.

If check out is at 11am, then guest should be required to retrieve their cars by 11am. There should be no reason why someone check in that day can not valet their car at 1:30 in the afternoon.

I expected to see a bear in the lobby, like he used to be a few years ago, but we really like the hotel’s new theme. The amenities were top notch, especially the pool with. I love the decor, the atmosphere of the hotel was so relaxing and inviting.

I BOOKED OCTOBER A FOR QUEEN BED BEDROOM MOUNTAIN VIEW AND I PAID IT IN ADVANCE.
