The owner(Art) is a gracious host who was very responsive to emails and was there to meet us at check in. Art took the time to introduce us to his Alpacas and chickens after check in. The bed was comfy and we were treated to great coffee and a full breakfast the following morning.

DO NOT BOOK THERE!!! First, when coming in the house, the smell was terrible. The front rooms were full of boxes and piles of stuff and from what we could see, the kitchen was not any better. We still went up the stairs to the room, as per the instructions given by the owner (whom we did not even meet even though his truck was parked out front). One look and we decided not to stay. 130$ down the drain...

What a peaceful and quaint place to stay in Nova Scotia. When we arrived we were pleasantly greeted with chickens and some curious alpacas. Art was shortly there to show us our room and amenities. The bathroom is very nice and the room is a Time Capsule that makes you feel acquainted with the old farmhouse. We ate a delicious breakfast with our host in the morning. If you would like an escape into the country, this farm house is my recommendation. Cheers

A very interesting friendly host. We enjoyed our introduction to the alpacas and to the barnyard chickens who had provided the eggs for our breakfast. This is a euneque opportunity for anyone wanting to experience farm life on this rustic sight.
