There was no hot water for half of our stay. Daniel from StayMarquis was helpful, but the emergency line did not call us back. Also a breaker needed to be reset the second night when we returned from an excursion. This impacted out stay for the price that we paid.
I wrote a detailed email to the resolution department outlining these issues in hopes to be find a reasonable solution given the issues we faced, but unfortunately after 3 1/2 weeks, I have not received a response!
The house is a nice size, with a beautiful kitchen stacked with all the things you would need. The beds were comfortable. The backyard is beautiful (we stayed in November), and looks like an amazing space to spend some time in the warmer months. The dining room was large enough to hold everyone who stayed in the size of the home to share a meal together.
I understand that an older home in the Hamptons may experience some hiccups with a breaker or a pilot, but it was the lack of communication in the resolution process that has left me baffled. For the pricing of this upscale, luxury rental, the basic amenities should work. Unfortunately, with the realties of a rental home, people may be faced with unforeseen situations during their stay, but one would expect a company to want to ensure their customer was satisfied and eager to remedy the unexpected. This was not the case for my experience.
