The rooms were well furnished, but spoilt by being extremely hot and the fans available being too underpowered to make any difference and/or too noisy to use. A very noisy road runs right behind the hotel, so having the windows open (essential) resulted in very poor sleep. We had requested a room with a bath, but none are available - instead a quite useless "double shower". A waste of a good sized bathroom!!

Excellent location, beautiful rooms with nice touches: complimentary first drinks, homemade biscuits, tea pigs etc very poor cleaning service though, no vacuuming during our stay , bed not made properly and we had to ask for toiletries . However excellent food and drinks ( needs more vegetarian options/ no vegan )and such a beautiful location. Would definitely visit again.

Near to the Forest. No scenery from the hotel.

Pros: The accommodation building which is separate from bar/restaurant.
Cons: Dining efficiency. Tables not cleared or wiped. Food not good and absolutely no presentation style. Overpriced and limited menu.
Location: Set in residential area. Close to busy road but very efficient glazing. Ample parking. Easy drive to access the Forest and main roads.
Accommodation unit very good. Bar and restaurant not so good and could benefit from a deep clean.
