Great family trip

We had a great time at this condo. The unit was fully stocked with just about anything you could imagine. They even had kids cups, utensils, plates, bowls, etc. They thought of so many things that I haven’t seen elsewhere. The unit was clean and comfortable, and everyone loved spending some time in the hammock on the porch. The owner met us upon arrival and showed us a few things, and was always quick to respond. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely place on the ocean

We were 2 couples (family) spending time in the St. Augustine area. The condo was very lovely and clean. The owners were VERY accomodating and welcoming. The location was away from the busyness of the historic district but just a few minutes drive from everything.

Wonderful Winter Escape on Vilano Beach

This listing lived up to all of its rave reviews. The hosts were communicative and very responsive. They even gave us an orientation tour of the property and unit when we arrived. This unit is very well stocked! The beds are comfortable. We loved being able to listen to the ocean. Our granddaughter‘s favorite spot was the hammock on the porch; the perfect place for resting or reading a book. Other pluses- Newer TVs with media and streaming services. The beach access is on the property, and secure. The beach wasn’t very crowded. We also appreciated the covered parking. This unit did not disappoint! We highly recommend this unit and hosts. We’d rent again!

Vilano Stay

We enjoyed our visit to St. Augustine - there is a lot to see and do in this part of FL. Vilano is a nice beach that has nice sunrises. The 1st floor condo faces nice restored dunes. It is a well furnished condo that is 30 plus years old that is close to downtown bridge and a Publix. Condo is starting to show its age and some appliances need updating. Door to patio is difficult to unlock/lock. Plumbing should be checked (slow drains).

Wonderful Vilano Beach Condo

We had a great stay at this condo during NYE week. The owner, Ralph, met us at check in and gave us a tour of the property, showing us everything in the condo. He was thorough in the tour and it answered any questions that we may have had during our stay. The condo was exactly as described and perfect for three friends to be comfortable and have plenty of space. The screened in porch was so nice to relax on in the mornings and evenings. The beach was seconds away from the back door. The pool was refreshing, but it was too chilly the week we were there to use it. There was a Publix and restaurant very close by as well. We would definitely stay here again as we love the location and area!

Can I Give More Than 5 Stars?

My wife and I met family over the Thanksgiving holidays in Vilano. Ralph and Marilyn made it an unforgettable stay. The apartment was immaculate and we were welcomed with a bottle of wine which was a complete surprise. We arrived late and the very next day we were provided a 5-minure phone tour that answered any of the questions we might have. The beds were comfortable and everything was well stocked. I realized a couple weeks later that I had left a charger for my Mac at the apartment. When we contacted Ralph we were surprised to find out that he was visiting in Orlando where we live. We set up a time to meet where I could pick it up. Simply incredible. Very kind people who go the extra mile. You can't go wrong!

Loved our stay

It was my husband and my first visit to the St Augustine area. We loved our stay and the beach, right out our door, was beautiful! The living space was comfortable and very clean. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of dishes, eating and drinking utensils, and even coffee and creamers! Vilano Beach is lovely and perfect for our stay, and there are plenty of great local restaurants and a very nice Publix a short walk away.

Pictures do not do this place justice. It’s amazing and so is the location

The property is small and very pretty , the covered parking is great . I loved the fact I could leave the door open and see my family swimming at the pool. The covered screen porch with the ocean in the background was amazing at night, it is a so calming . The condo is very spacious and tons of storage and space. The beach access was perfect and a little 2 minute walk. The host meeting us there for a tour AND a bottle of wine and popcorn for the kids was amazing . If we go back to Vilano next year I will book with this again. The drive into St. Augustine was so quick and easy . Loved this place

Honesty is not always the best policy

The property is worn down and dingy. The living room furniture was so uncomfortable and very unpleasant to sit on. The patio furniture was just as bad. The beds were not comfortable at all. The bathrooms were small. The clothes washer had a horrible odor and we opted not to do laundry while there. Being we had young kids, one of the younger ones jumped in the pool got out and told us they thought they had passed gas but really had almost pooped their pants. Nothing was in the pool but as a courtesy we called to let the owner know and asked what he wanted to do. He said he would call maintenance and for us not to use the pool until he let us know. He did not call nor text by the next day and there was no signs about not using the pool, so we texted him and he said that maintenance was taking care of it. That evening there was a "pool closed" sign. Our check out the next day so we didnt use the pool again. The day we left and got an email through VRBO stating that we were being charged $180 extra for the cleaning of the pool. $145 for maintenance and $35 for supplies. You would think maintenance gets paid to maintain the pool anyway and that they would have supplies to do that. So why were we charged? The owner never communicated to us that we would be charged this fee. We have tried calling him and cant get ahold of him. **Moral of the story if there isnt poop in the pool dont say a word.**

wonderful vacation

Our first trip to St Augustine was wonderful. We were greeted by Ralph upon our arrival and he showed us all the amenities and how to work the tv, grill, etc. The condo had everything we could possibly need. Not only was the kitchen well stocked but we had access to beach chairs, umbrellas and beach towels. The location right on the beach is incredible. We walked the beach just about every morning. The screened in porch was lovely to sit and listen to the waves. Ralph was so kind. He checked in with us to see how things were going and we mentioned that we had planned to watch the Super Bowl from the condo. The tv wasn't set up for that streaming service so Ralph came out the very next day to set it up on the tv. What a sweetheart!

Amazing Beach Front Stay at Vilano Beach

This Condo is so peaceful and well stocked. We loved how close the beach access was and how nice the owners were to help show us everything the condo had to offer the first day. I hope to be able to stay here again the next time we come to Florida for vacation.

Lovely condo

Wonderful condo and host!!! The location is great, right on the beach. The whole condo is so charmingly decorated and well stocked with everything you could possibly need and more. Perfect for a family with kids, the pool is right out the front door and a large grassy area right outside the back door for playing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to come back again.

Location, location, location...and so much more!

We discovered we could walk to almost anything we needed like the local pier, coffee shop, restaurants, fishing tackle and grocery. Of course the best walk is the beautiful beach! We enjoyed watching the sunrise from the condos lanai and listening to the ocean waves as we fell asleep. Our host went above and beyond when stocking supplies for the kitchen as well as personal care products. There was even a basket of new slippers in the closest for us. Lots of thoughtful little touches. Our host was a pleasurer to talk with and quick to respond if we had a question. Beds were comfortable. Unit was clean and inviting. We hope to come back and stay again!

AMAZING!!

Everything was so easy from getting settled to how close and easy it was to get to the beach. The condo was clean and very well-stocked!! We were blown away!! The screened in area is incredible for having a cup of coffee or a glass of wine and listening to the ocean. The pool was nearly right outside our door as well. We had no rowdy neighbors, just friendly people everywhere. My wife was making plans to come back before we even left!
