I chose the booking for the location and price. It was fine for a night. However, I was disappointed that the listing did not explain the payment process (I was charged two separate times and thought the second charge was fraud, which caused several problems) nor the fact there was a check-in process where I needed to scan my passport or ID. Since I wasn't going to scan in my passport, the other option was my driver's license but you had to list it as a European ID card. It was all very confusing and seemed unnecessary or at least over the top. Having clearer communication or simply omitting the foreign ID options would have made more sense. When we arrived, 20 minutes after check-in time, our door was open and the room not finished being cleaned yet. However, management responded very quickly. Also, a couple of windows to the outside door were broken and the lock didn't work, so anyone could walk in. That felt a little unsafe except for the neighborhood seemed fine. There is a parking garage, again, a nice perk but is VERY cramped inside and difficult to back out, turn around, and or leave in general. There was also garbage bags everywhere inside. Probably could have just parked on the street. Overall the place was clean and okay for a night, I just would have appreciated clearer descriptions and upfront information. I felt there was more hassle for this one night then with other VRBO bookings I've made/had in the past.
