The bathtub was clogged. When we went to shower this morning the tub filled with dirty water from the drain. When we checked out with the front desk staff - Emily, we made her aware for maintenance, she said there was nothing she could do for this inconvenience because we “prepaid”. Otherwise if we would have booked through Cobblestone then she could have provided a discount for the unusable shower. The lack of care and customer service felt like a major brush off. It doesn’t matter where you book, the hotel should care that their facilities are in working order.

Positives: Beds were comfortable. Facility was clean. Convenient location for our needs. Just one block away from Main St which has come nice restaurants and coffee shops. Negatives: Complimentary breakfast was barely edible. Fitted sheet on bed didn't fit and kept pulling off. Parking was tight during happy hour at the restaurant. Major construction project across the street was noisy in daytime.

This hotel is conveniently located right downtown. It is clean and the rooms are modestly decorated. The only issue is it is noisy. We have stayed here 4 times in the past 4 months and every time it has been loud. Whether it is people talking loudly in the hall overnight or the staff getting things started around 6 am or people running in their rooms, a truly goodnight’s sleep is hard to come by.

One of the rooms we reserved did not have a shower curtain and dirty wash cloth was left in shower which cleaning staff obviously missed. The bedding protector beneath the sheets did not fit snugly and kept sliding off which made it very uncomfortable to sleep.

A great option in SP
We love the location of this hotel. Walking distance to downtown, parks & near our son's college house. The hotel is clean, but this trip the other patrons were very noisy at night. It's also strange that you never really see staff. You have to ring a bell to get help at the front desk. We love the coffee bar in the hall & the free breakfast has lots of options. A place to get ice water would be a wonderful addition. We had to search for ice - finally found it one the 4th floor.

Bumps at Cobblestone
Upon check in I requested housekeeping services, each day of my three day stay. Day one when I returned no housekeeping for my room, so I had to ask for additional towels. Second day, again no housekeeping, even as I saw rooms being cleaned on my floor. It appears the hotel doesn’t have sufficient staff. The only staff person I talked to or saw, expressed frustration with me even asking for room service and was very unfriendly. I’ve stayed at this hotel at least 4-5 times for 2-3 nights. For the rate paid I expect housekeeping and a welcoming front desk staff. That was not what I experienced.
