Beautiful little inn! Looking forward to staying here again! Rooms aren't very big, but are clean and wonderfully decorated. I think "Charming" sums it up/ Loved that it has the wonderful restaurant attached to it. Restaurant service was a little pokey; that's my only complaint. Shuttle service to the theater was an awesome bonus! Loved it!

Wonderful place to stay for a theatre weekend. Great bar and restaurant. Food was terrific. Perfect location. Even a theatre shuttle for the festival theatre so no parking concerns! Caleb and Sheri at from desk were amazing. Comfortable room. Very clean. The rose at night was a lively touch considering it was our 40th anniversary.

The hotel is well-located near the city centre and the Festival properties. The staff was very attentive and the accomodation was suitable despite the fact that the hotel is housed in an older renovated facility and consequently our room had has a slightly musty odour.

Situated in an historic building, the hotel has worked hard to make the building accessible. Door operators, ramped entrances and an elevator help to make the hotel and its restaurant accessible. Narrow door openings for most rooms are not practical for wheelchair users, but inducing with other forms of mobility aids will be able to manage. The staff was willing to provide a shower bench for me which whacked me you have a shower in the small shower stall. A wheelchair height desk in reception would improve accessibility. There is one room that is wheelchair accessible: it would be great if the hotel would add more. Staff was professional and accommodating.

Lovely, historic inn with modern amenities and a cozy 'flavor'. This is a wonderful place to stay for anyone who'd like to escape the corporate feel of so many hotels and inns while paying a fairly reasonable price. The hotel restaurant is quite nice and all staff are helpful and resourceful. Easy walk to shops and the theatre.

My mother and I stayed a night during the Stratford festival. Was a very short walk to the Avon theater and numerous dining options. The hotel is really pretty and staff were very friendly. I would definitely stay here again if I was in Stratford for the night.

Historic charm that needs updating
Lovely that this property has some historic relevance, but it also feels like it hasn’t been updated since it was first built. The location is terrific, but the property itself needs an overhaul. I was booked for a 2-night stay and moved to another hotel after the first night because I slept so poorly in the lumpy bed with the air conditioner blowing right by me. The restaurant is mediocre at best. I would not return.

Caleb was welcoming when we checked in. There was a strange smell on entering the room. The bed has seen better days. One bath towel was frayed and i showed a photo to Caleb. Happy with parking, though, because it is always an issue in the city. Otherwise, we were pleased to have book this hotel.

Beautiful old hotel in excellent condition! Quiet room, very comfortable bed, nice bath with jets or good shower. Helpful, friendly staff. Excellent and reasonably priced restaurant for breakfast or dinner. Kind to our grandkids. Even have vending machine in basement for those late night snacks. Easy walking to our theater. Free parking in lot adjoining. Will come back! ( this was our second time).

We liked the convenient location to downtown, cleanliness, and ease of administration. The room was too small for a king size bed and the hot water was way too hot.
