On arrival my expectations were immediately underwhelmed based on the lack of signage and poor state of the parking areas. It was not clear where the entrance was and I stumbled into the tenants lobby with mailboxes. This property is partially condos / apartments and as we approached the main lobby walkway (which was hard to find) and large dog barked at us from the top floor of the hotel. Pros: Free buffet breakfast Clean rooms and premises Friendly helpful and attentive staff and service Easy parking Cons: Breakfast buffet was meh. Again a clean area but just kinda uninspired The entire property is aging rather ungracefully and needs touch ups everywhere. The room was 26.5 deg C when we arrived and after speaking with the front desk the only option was to open windows as there is no AC, thankfully it was cold outside so the windows open helped a lot although I had to prop one open with a coat hanger and another had no screen at all. The pool area was clean but run down- did not resemble the pictures. The sauna was also not working from what we could tell. Overall ok but we would choose to book elsewhere if we were to revisit summerside.

I booked this hotel for a funeral, and need a CPAP in order to sleep. Last night there was a planned power outage in the city of Summerside, and yet not a single member of the hotel staff felt the need to inform guests. There was zero signage in the lobby, no notices posted in the elevator, and it had been planned for days. Now I'm in town for a funeral, and I'm not paying attention to the news as much. The fact that the staff didn't inform me, and then tried to tell me they 'had no idea the outage was happening". So either they are ignorant of the news in the town where their hotel is, or they lied to me. Both of those options are enough to convince me to never stay here again.

I really like the convience of this property and the value pricing. The rooms are outdated, the bathrooms are very outdated and our tub was cracked. With this being said, the pricing is good. The service is always great! We will return. We dont use this property for vacations, so our purpose is great.
