The amenities listed for this house were a pool and a hot tub. Upon arrival on Saturday, we quickly learned that the pool needed cleaned. It was a greenish color. The hot tub had very little water in it, was dirty and had about 3 frogs living in it. We called Vacasa (the property management) and told them of the green pool and requested for someone to come clean it. They said someone would call me or come to the property within an hour. No one ever called or showed up. On Sunday the pool turned even greener (it matched the grass). Again we called Vacasa and they said they would send someone as soon as possible. A pool company came Monday morning and the guy was there for about 5 minutes and told us nothing, other than the level was extremely high and unsafe to swim in (an 11). He brushed the sides of the pool and left without telling us what the next steps were and when it would be safe for my 4 kids to swim. I called Vacasa again after the pool company left and wanted an update from them on when my kids could swim in the pool and also requested a refund since the pool had been unusable for 3 days so far and the hot tub wasn't filled. The corporate number referred me to the local supervisor, Bella. After 3 requests, Bella called me on Tuesday morning and said we could get a refund for the pool and I mentioned being moved to a property that had a working and safe pool. Bella stated that someone from reservations would call me sometime Tuesday about being placed somewhere else. In the meantime, a maintenance person came Tuesday and put more chlorine in the pool, which turned the pool even more green. I called Vacasa again on Tuesday night wanting to know the status of being moved. I was informed that someone would call me that night and tell me. No one ever called. On Wednesday morning my family and I decided to take things into our own hands and to check out of the house early and go somewhere else that had a functioning, safe pool for my 4 kids to swim in. I called Bella again on Wednesday morning and left a message asking her to please call me asap and let me know if we were being moved because we had another condo lined up.
I never heard from her so I booked the condo and we checked out of the property early. I have called Vacasa multiple times and have requested a refund for the 3 nights we didn't stay there. As of Sunday,no one has been able to help me and no one has called me back. I will never deal with Vacasa ever again! Don't stay!
