Calm Quiet Peaceful Stay

Our stay at this location was wonderful. Having the ice cream shop and general store right beside was a plus. The host communicated days before we arrived updating on check in process. The host was available and communicated throughout the process. Even asking if we wanted to get the pool heated for an extra fee since the temps a night looked to be colder. We opted not to get the pool heated but it was nice to know it was an option. Top balcony actually has a great wide view of the beachThe location was wonderful, only wish the pier would have been open but its been closed for a while. Easy access to the beach and the beach was not overly crowded. Was able to fish daily without getting in the way of others.We had the great pleasure of meeting the neighbors staying in the house beside us and enjoy their company daily. The kids enjoyed being at the pool and running to the beach right after. We would definitely return to this place in a heart beat.

Great stay!

We had the best time for our late summer beach vacation! We came as a group of families with 10 adults and 7 kiddos and this place was perfect for us. We loved being on the beach (clutch with kids!) and the pool was wonderful for the afternoons. The place looked just like the photos and was great and clean. The hosts were super responsive and very flexible with our group. Recommend 100%!!!

Perfect set up for beach and pool

This home could not be better for being on the beach! The walkway from the house to the beach was so close. It even had a hose midway to rinse off. The pool and the shaded sitting area was a big plus. Having a large shaded area with tables and a sitting area allowed us to get out of the sun and be close to the pool at the same time. There is a large deck which faces the ocean that we enjoyed. As mentioned by others a drawback for us was the lights coming from the stores next door. We did not expect it to be so bright. I think room darkening or some kind of blinds would be a great improvement. I was disappointed we could not see the sunrise from the house as the buildings next door blocked the view. You can go down to the beach and see it of course. It was very convenient to have ice cream a few steps away which we enjoyed daily. One thing we did not realize from the photos is there are no ensuite bathrooms. Plenty of towels in the bathrooms and nice bedding are a plus. Overall the house was clean and comfortable.

Excellent beach house and location!!

This house was perfect for our family group of eight adults and nine children. Very nicely remodelled, well furnished and stocked and very clean. Our host was extremely helpful and responsive to our questions. We made good use of the decks, both kitchens and both living areas. We had never been to Holden Beach before but found it to be a wide and gently sloping beach that rivals the many beaches I have been to in Florida. The house is well positioned right on the beach and as a bonus covenience there is a small grocery store, swimwear store, and ice cream parlor right next door! The pool was perfect for the young children to enjoy after they had spent several hours on the beach. We will most definitely want to rent this house again!

We gathered with seven children, spouses, significant others, friends, sister-in-law and niece to say goodbye to their grandfather and father. Before he came to live with my wife, our three youngest children and myself, in Oklahoma seven years ago, we spent a week with him at Holden Beach (he lived in Charlotte then). This past week, we brought him home one last time for a burial at sea. We will long remember the opportunity to gather in one wonderful beach house and be together. Beach House Paradise

Booked for family gathering, loved the location--just steps to the beach, so many bedrooms and beds, two kitchens side-by-side so easy to cook meals for lots of people, Kitchens had all the cook and dining ware we needed. Excellent refrigerators, great dining seating and living rooms. Decks were lovely to sit out mornings and evenings and after many hours at the beach the grandkids then loved late afternoons in the pool. Nice bathrooms with tons of bath towels. Some beach supplies, including boogie boards, we left kids' beach and pool toys, so have those too. We rented a gas grill from Grill-n-Chill and it was delivered on time with grilling implements. So don't let lack of gas grill deter you from this PERFECT beach home, great for family gatherings! And so convenient to be next to small stores. Hosts were fantastic too!!

More than Perfect!

Our stay here was absolutely wonderful! The location was a dream. Having the General store and beach store right next door was very convenient. We went to the grocery store once during our trip, and anything else last minute we needed we could walk next door. The house was super clean and all of the updates were very nice. The weather of the first week of may could not have been more perfect either. The heated pool was a plus! We spent our mornings on the beach and afternoons by the pool everyday. We very much expect to make this an annual family vacation trip. Holden beach is a nice quiet relaxing area! Thank you!

Women’s Retreat

So grateful that we found this property for a women’s retreat. Sabrina was a great host and always answered any questions quickly. Everyone loved her property as it was clean and had plenty of room. It had plenty of pots ands pans to cook and also not far from Beaches and cream’s, homemade ice cream, and The Cove’s seafood. If we decide to do the trip again, we may definitely come to Sabrina’s home again. Highly recommend.

The perfect location and home for a weekend of serenity

My friends and I had a wonderful stay here at Holden Beach. The beach itself is clean, peaceful and gorgeous. The house exceeded all of our expectations. There was plenty of room for everyone and the accommodations were clean and comfortable. The pool and porches were thoroughly enjoyed as well. Sabrina was very communicative and helpful. Would highly recommended this house!

A Very Impressive Stay

We feel beyond thankful to have found this property. The house was an awesome layout- perfectly fit our large extended family! It was decently kid friendly as well. It is right next to a surf shop, general store, and ice cream shop. We did not need to jump into our cars for anything! We stayed right at the end of the summer so the entire shop was 50% off. The ocean was clean, not overcrowded even with the shops next door, and we found a ton of shark teeth! Really a trip we will never forget. The pool was beautiful and such a relaxing break from the beach. Every inch of the house was used and appreciated. We likely will rent this house again!

Awesome View on the beach

We had a really great time, the ocean views were awesome. The pool was very clean, perfect. The house has two living rooms, two kitchens, these areas can be separate or combined. It was nice because cartoons can be on in one living room for the kids and regular TV in the other living room. Close, but there are separate spaces.

Awesome place!

We had a great time with a large group for a summer vacation. The house was perfect for multiple families with lots of kids and adults. Right on a beautiful beach and it has a great pool as well. Highly recommend!

A great place for the extended family

Our extended family (3 generations ranging from 5 to 70 years) stayed at this place and had a great time. The location is beautiful- right on the beach. Although it was chilly in December we could walk the beach and the kids could play in the sand. The house comfortably fit all of us with ample bedrooms, beds and bathrooms. There was an issue with the water due to the extreme cold weather when we arrived, but Sabrina could not have been more helpful and took care of the problem right away. We would definitely recommend.

Great place for multiple families!

Great house, great location, great owners! We had two families, 5 kids total ranging in age from 3-12 and we all had the best time. The identical floor plans (two kitchens, two dining, two living rooms) was perfect for separating the two families and also the kids from the parents. The house was immaculate, beautifully decorated and well stocked. It’s located right next to a small general store and ice cream/surf shop. We walked over to the general store a few times for items we had forgotten at food lion…or for the kids to comb through all of the beach themed knick knacks. We were unfortunately out of season for the pool but it looked perfect and private. Beautiful flat and very wide beach!! The owners were very prompt and friendly with their responses…we had one upstairs toilet that wouldn’t flush and they had someone out there quickly to fix it. We would definitely stay here again!

Holden Beach Rental

The house and area were just lovely. I feel that you may need to take a closer look at the cooling system for upstairs. The rooms upstairs with a ceiling fan were more comfortable. I don't know if it would be an option for the rooms with bunkbeds to have a ceiling fan. Other than that, every thing was wonderful.

Great family vacation spot

Had this spot reserved for a few months was nervous about whether the space was enough. Turned out wonderful. Owners responded quickly to all my questions and concerns. Definitely would/will stay here again.
