who still has a double bed in a casino? terrible

nice hotel picked the expensive harbour view 2 bedroom to my surprise the 2nd room bed was a double. I have travelled hotels around the world and never have i seen a 2nd bedroom bed a double bed. when asked they said thats what we have which was abrupt and no other option available If you are seeking a 5 star hotel accomodatjon experience. This is not the hotel for you. Best to goto a service apartment which sydney has plenty at the same price or less with the same view or to the crown casino at Barangaroo.

Disappointing Stay – Only Good Thing Was the Location We stayed at this hotel for four nights over the long weekend, expecting a special experience since we specifically chose this place to celebrate our anniversary. Unfortunately, the only acknowledgment we received was a small chocolate cake with "Happy Anniversary" written on it—hardly the thoughtful touch we had hoped for. Housekeeping was another major issue. Our room was consistently cleaned around 4 PM, which was incredibly inconvenient as we would return from exploring the city around that time. The last thing we wanted was to come back to an unclean room or have to leave again while the staff cleaned. It completely disrupted our ability to relax. The buffet breakfast was also disappointing. I’ve had much better breakfast buffets elsewhere. The food was very average, hygiene standards were questionable, and the waitstaff looked uninterested and unmotivated. The whole experience felt unwelcoming and unprofessional. The only positive aspect of this hotel was the location. It was within walking distance of Darling Harbour, and just a five-minute walk to the ferry, which made it easy to get to Circular Quay and other areas around the harbour. Overall, this hotel did not meet expectations. For the price and the reputation, I expected much better service, cleanliness, and attention to detail. I will not be staying here again and would recommend looking for a cleaner, better-managed hotel instead.

I do like to stay here as you have everything in your hand and close to key spots in Sydney - customer can pickup and drop off with ease.

Lovely hotel and casino for a starcation

Stayed in the separate section this time I prefer hotel side. Had harbour view from balcony but couldn’t see it if you were in room. Pool area was disgustingly dirty. Not enough staff. Otherwise It is a great hotel in a great area. Casino is fun but a bit of a time wasted signing up. Seems to be lots of queuing for check in and check out and membership.

The accommodation was beautiful. The free upgrade was appreciated too. The room was clean. We had the buffet for dinner and breakfast. The breakfast was great in parts but underwhelming in others. The pancakes were tiny and soggy. The crepes were good but filled with Nutella so not great for allergy kids. A recent trip to Sofitel in darling Harbour had waffles, pancakes, French toast for the kids with a whole section. I think it could be better for kids.
