Waging am See, a quaint town on the Waginger See with many cafés and restaurants, is located a 10-minute drive (6.2 km) from the apartment. Furthermore, Mozart’s native town Salzburg can be reached after a 40-minute drive (37 km), and the famous lake Chiemsee is a 25-minute drive (25 km) west of Mauerham.
