It was exactly what the owner summarized about the property. It was a peaceful, relaxing, and beautiful stay. I loved the decor and colors of the furnishings on the inside... simple, clean, nicely accesorized. The kitchen was completely stocked with all necessities. Nice appliances, a variety of cutlery, dinnerware, and cookware. The screened back porch is where we enjoyed eating... it was a delight. Would be a great place to drink coffee, read a book... Comfortable living room area... not good reception with the channels but we didn't watch a lot of TV. Bed was comfortable and cozy. Bathroom off the kitchen was small but convenient. Bathroom next to bedroom was nice and clean. The shower was small for a tall person, but my husband managed. We don't have small children, but there was an extremely special play area where there were books, toys, and a TV for them. Toiletries, sheets, towels, washclothes were plentiful in the hall closet. The property could use a little manacuring but it was beautiful still. We fished from the dock and took the kayak and jon boat out. The battery to the boat was dead so my husband went out and we got a battery charger, so maybe that would have been useful to have on the property. The dock could use some kind of chairs to sit on it. A great place sunbathe also. It was so peaceful and quiet and it was Memorial weekend. So if you enjoy crowds and the rush of daily life, you probably wouldnt want to stay here. You literally hear nature in the backyard, especially the morning, the beautiful birds. We enjoyed ourselves tremendously. Was not disappointed at all. Would recommend this place to anyone wanting to get away from the noise of city life.
