Great location
We spent the Christmas week in CR - 3 couples. There was plenty of room and privacy. A quiet neighborhood away from the busy downtown area. Beach is across the street for walks, sunset, playing in the sand and water. The beach is quite rocky in general, but there's an area to swim and play in the surf, which was pretty active that time of year. There is a market a stone's throw from the villa. So convenient, and they had a good variety of food and drink. We wish we had rented a golf cart, as the weather was hot and it was a decent walk to other beaches and the bustling downtown shops and restaurants. There are restaurants that are closer, too, but for the full Tamarindo experience, having that transportation would have been cool. The younger adults were happy scootering, and we all used Ubers pretty frequently. Owner(s) were super communicative and quick to address any insignificant issues we had. A fun time was had by all. A perfect first visit to CR.

Great property, great space, comfortable beds, good kitchen. All of us enjoyed our stay. Villa was close to restaurants and The Ocean. We had 2 issues on 2 different occasions, one electrical and we lost our water for a day. The owners were excellent and responsive in handling both issues quickly.

Loved the location. Right outside the hustle and bustle of Tamarindo. I walked into town several days. Very easy walk. House was immaculate Owners were so receiving. Very private and very secure. Couldn’t have worked any better. Great bar/restaurant, great restaurant and great Mini mart less than 5 min walk. Location location location Highly recommend

Absolutely loved our visit! First time to Costa Rica and the villa was just perfect! It had everything we needed and the property management/ owners were so responsive! Recommendations for our visit were spot on from where to eat, beach access, rentals, etc. We appreciated all the details provided before and during our trip, it was great! This was our first (of hopefully many) trips to Costa Rica. We were uncertain about where to stay, how to get around, where to eat, etc. but the hosts of this property helped out immensely! I typically corresponded with Cassie and she was absolutely amazing. She helped ease so many concerns and made everything so comfortable. Based just on the hosts’ communicate alone, I would give this stay 10/10. But the 10/10 rec doesn’t end there because the property also was fantastic. We loved the area; far enough away from Tamarindo to be quiet and serene but close enough to be convenient. We rented a golf cart and that was sufficient for getting around. We could have also walked but we had smaller children and did not want to deal with that! The house had everything we needed and we all enjoyed the pool. We were never able to get the hot tub to a temp that my husband wanted but I thought it was perfectly fine. I could go on but IMO this is wonderful place and don’t hesitate to book! Thank you Cassie and Rob for such great accommodation and working so patiently with us.

Wonderful place to make memories
Langosta is a great area with some nice restaurants and a short walk to Tamarindo. This gives access and privacy, the best of both worlds. The house is in a gated community with access across the street to the beach. This is a great beach for walking as it goes for miles in both directions and connects to Tamarindo. The house is very comfortable and has all the amenities. The roof top patio and hot tub was a nice space to end the evening with some drinks. Rob and Cassie were very helpful with suggestions as we planned our stay and with transit to/from airport. I would definitely come back and stay here again. Thank you for the memories!!

Wonderful rental!!
My husband and I and 3 adult children in their 20s had an incredible stay at the villa. Everything was exactly as depicted in the listing or better. The AC worked perfectly-we learned that shutting doors to bathrooms kept the bedrooms very cold at night. The house was fully stocked with everything from coffee, filters, detergent, etc. and I knew I could text the management company for anything. The shuttle to the airport was first class and inexpensive-don’t rent a car. But the Villa itself was the best part. We loved hanging out up top in the jacuzzi that got so hot we had to turn it off. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. The market was so close you could walk. Restaurants were also nearby but the golf cart we rented from Watermans was great to have. I also had the very best experience communicating with the owners. They were so attentive to all of my questions and went above and beyond what I would expect from a host. I give the property and owners my highest recommendation and hope we can return soon.

We absolutely loved the rental and the area. We were able to easily walk to restaurants and beaches with our 5 year old. The Villa was wonderful and everything went smoothly. The hot tub on the roof was a nice touch and a great way to end the day.

We loved this place!
We’ve rented many properties around the world, and this one definitely stands out as a favorite. With the private courtyard pool, rooftop jacuzzi, comfy beds, numerous great spots to enjoy a quiet coffee, it truly was a very relaxing and enjoyable place to stay. I loved having a balcony off one of the upstairs bedrooms, being able to look out on the lush landscaping out front. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed during our stay. Though Playa Langosta feels very safe, it was additional comfort to notice there was an overnight security guard stationed at the secured gate to the complex. Location is great. We loved being away from the bustle of Tamarindo, but close enough that we could easily venture there for restaurants. Highlights close to the villa were the deli (Cheese and Fishes), and the Langosta Beach Club. A day pass to the beach club was very reasonably priced, and kids were free. It was a great place to hang out with food and drinks, allowing the group to split time between the beach and pool. All in all, this stay was exactly what we had hoped for, and we very much hope to return again in future.

Can’t wait to come back!
My husband, 2 sons (14 & 8) and I recently returned from an amazing stay at Playa Langosta. The owners and management company were very helpful and responsive as we planned our stay, and the villa was perfect in every way - from the location (close to town and beautiful beaches) to the villa itself, which was very clean, private and well-equipped. Would highly recommend to anyone and we cannot wait to come back! Pura vida!

Great vacation home for family
Very nice vacation rental for our family of 6. We could easily walk to the beach, a few restaurants, a little convenience/grocery store. The town of Tamarindo was nice to pop in for shopping/restaurants, but we were much happier staying in the quiet and laid back area where the home is (Playa Langosta). We did use the pool and roof top jacuzzi, both were nice to relax in. The kitchen was well stocked, the washer/dryer was great to have, the A/C worked amazingly. Was a great vacation rental for us and we would certainly return.

The house itself was great. Location was great. Only disappointment was the hot tub. We were advised it may take 45min to 1hour to fully heat, but after waiting 1 hour we were still quite cold. This was a bummer, as part of the reason I chose to book this house was for the rooftop jacuzzi. Otherwise, no complaints.

Overall it was a great place to stay. The description and pictures were accurate. Beautiful rocky beach very close, swimming beach a 10 minute walk away. Rooftop area great place for morning coffee and a glass of wine later in the day along with the hot tub. Small (but well-stocked) grocery store/beer/wine/liquor, and Italian restaurant/pizza within a 2-minute walk. Easy to get mandatory Covid testing done for the return flight to US/Canada. Hard to find at first. Property manager not easy to get in touch with initially for a couple of small issues. but all was resolved eventually.

Villa #7 was perfect for our family of 4 (two teen boys). Property manager was incredibly responsive and any questions were answered promptly. Short walk to beautiful quiet beach. Private pool was perfect for taking a break. We rented a golf cart for quick trips into Tamarindo. Short walk to a few restaurant and shops. Perfect location away from the busyness of town but close enough so our teens could explore on their own.

Great complex, across street from beach access.
Playa Langosta is a nice quiet area a short drive south of busy Tamarindo. A few great restaurants are within easy walking distance of this villa as well a small convenience store with a good selection of food, fruit, water. This unit is one of 10 in a gated complex and it has a small courtyard pool on the main floor area and a generous rooftop sun deck with hot tub for more sun if you prefer. Unit was equipped with most everything you need with some upgrading needed in the utility knife department and a good quality blender. Fridge has an ice maker, which came in handy. Beach folding chairs are provided, but no umbrella or other beach goodies for kids. There is a rental store just down the street that had some good quality chairs, umbrellas, boogey boards, surf boards and bikes which we rented. Basics like salt, pepper, seasoning salt, cling wrap area in the cupboard along with a good supply of paper towel and toilet tissue. Overall it suited our needs as a family of 6.
