We recently stayed at a beautiful house in the prime location of the Poconos booked through Vrbo. Overall, our trip was wonderful, except for one major issue that tarnished our experience—the management's response to a problem affecting all the TVs in the unit.
Upon arrival, we discovered that the TVs were all messed up and lacking HDMI cables and remotes. It became virtually impossible to watch TV, which was particularly frustrating since we had looked forward to the Notre Dame game and some downtime during our vacation. Initially, we were promised that the issue would be resolved promptly by dropping off the necessary cables. They just kept texting as if they were being helpful, but did nothing. Finally, after days of this ridiculous ness, they had the audacity to suggest that we should go out and purchase the cables ourselves if we wanted the TVs fixed during our vacation, provide receipts, they’d reimburse us at some point.
It's truly disheartening because this house is undeniably beautiful, and its location couldn't be better. The management's failure to address the TV problem and their ineffective communication with us significantly dampened our overall experience.
