The worst VRBO we have ever stayed in.
We only get to vacation as a family twice a year and to get a raw deal when a condo is in this poor of condition, is extremely upsetting! On the VRBO description, it said the queen size bed in the master had been replaced with a king. The major reason, I selected this condo. We are a tall family. Master had a queen, no king. Big deal for us. Then to find out the bed in the master bedroom was actually worse than sleeping on the floor! The worst bed we have ever slept in! No one should rent a place out with this horrible of a bed! The right side of the bed made you feel like you were falling the entire night! The sh were stained and worn out, should have been thrown away years ago! Awful! I think furniture from Walmart would be nicer than the furniture in this place. What furniture it had! Chester drawers falling apart, couch in the living room was gross, and table in 3rd-floor bedroom was covered in filth. Not sure if I would reference the 3rd room as a ‘bed’-room. The bed in there looked worse than the master. We didn’t dare look to see why the 2 mattresses looked like they were stuff with hay. 2nd-floor bedroom doesn’t have any furniture other than a bed. No place to put your stuff. That’s great for extended stays. Other items:Condo was unlocked upon our arrival. Found that very odd. Instructions on how to unlock/lock the door were unclear. At no point in the instructions did it mention you need to hit the ‘Yale’ button on the top of the lock to activate the electronic keypad.
Light bulbs throughout the unit didn’t work. Trash left on kitchen countertop upon our arrival. Kitchen table had dried beer bottle rings all over the table when we arrived. Needless to say, it made you question the cleanliness of the rest of the place when the kitchen table wasn’t even wiped down. Then when the first kitchen item we used was a ‘dirty’ pizza pan, we pretty much knew. More than half the blinds in the unit did not function properly. Worst was the second bedroom where our daughter slept that didn’t come down all the way. She couldn’t even sleep with how bright the room was. 11 days before our arrival, I receive an email that the property was waiting for a replacement part for the showerhead in the second bathroom. The workaround was an outdoor faucet handle attached to the showerhead. When turned on, it made such a loud vibrating noise it couldn’t be used without disturbing all the neighbors. Therefo
