Communication was great. This property is in a very rough, low socioeconomic area of town. Just one street over was a broken down camper with numerous tarps where a homeless person was living. There are broken down vehicles, graffiti and vacant shops. We entered the local dollar store and someone was actively stealing packages of underwear. This home is broken down into multiple units. While our unit had a very efficient, layout with washer, dryer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster and coffee maker, very comfortable, leather couch, and TVs in all rooms, we could hear everything that was going on in the unit behind us. The couple was arguing, swearing, chopping vegetables, and making food at 1 o’clock in the morning. They were slamming cabinet doors, burned something on the stove and we could smell it all night long. We did not sleep. We visited for the Nike cross country regional race. My daughter is a junior in high school, and this race was very important to her for her college résumé. Needless to say, without any sleep, she did not do well in the race. We are very disappointed. That was a very old used sponge on the kitchen sink with two paper towels, left on the paper towel. The cabinets and the refrigerator door looks like they could use a deep cleaning. The dirty linens from the stay prior to ours were left in pillowcases on the back patio table and were left there for our entire visit. Steer clear from this property.
