Location is very convenient but close to railway having noise nearby. Front desk staff are very good but the pillow is small & flat, uncomfortable to fall asleep. My room carpet in the dining are with odd smell like urine smell. I need to put strong anti odd smell spay. Compare with the other Monday Apart Premium Ueno, this one should need improvement

It’s spacious and new apartment. Very nice when staying with a big family n kids. Love the laundry and drawer too. A bit noisy with the train but it’s acceptable and didn’t wake us up.

My family of 3 adults and 1 child had a great stay here! The deluxe Japanese room we had was a good size complete with a kitchen, washer/dryer, microwave, toaster oven, and everything else we needed during our stay. Staff was friendly and even helped put our luggage in our room. Location wise it was easy to walk to jr and Ginza line which we used often. Ameyoko market and a number of malls were nearby too, so easy to get groceries and food. Overall great stay and highly recommended!

We loved our stay at Monday Apart Prem Ueno Okachimachi. We have two booking separated by a night in Hakone. The staff were super friendly and helpful, local area was nice, very good transport links and both Ueno and Akihabara were within walking distance. The rooms were very spacious, clean and had everything we needed. So nice to have a washer dryer. The only negative is the hotel is close to the train lines so if you are a light sleeper this may bother you. We wore ear plugs and it was absolutely fine. Trains stop between midnight and 5am anyway. We would definitely come back and stay here when we come back to Tokyo.

The property is literally across the rail tracks, BUT we were super impressed that we did not hear the trains at all! The window paines were amazingly insulating. It has easy access to transportation as station is just half a block away and you can walk to the animee section of town. It seems to be the local bar and yakitori hangout, so many to choose from.

The hotel is very close to Ueno subway station, lots of restaurants and shopping around. The room itself is quite big in Japan standard, the double room we booked has an additional bunk bed in it, great for families.It also has a laundry machine. However, because the building is adjacent to the subway line, you’re able to hear the train in the room, ear plugs are a must. The shower room also smelled a little musky from the moisture. Lastly, for our room, the sun blinds is right above the bed over your head, so the light shines right at you when the sun is up, eye cover is definitely recommended.

Close proximity to plenty of eateries around the area, shopping malls Parco ya, Matzukaya, Ameyoko street, Ueno and Akibahara. 2mins walk to Okachimachi station and few other stations. Spacious and comfortable room, full kitchen utensils, microwave, toaster, sizeable fridge and love the in-room washer-dryer. Friendly and polite staff. Oh and I love the separate wash/ bath tub and toilet. Last but not least wonderful shoe rack!

Great hotel in a fantastic location in Ueno. The only thing to worry about is going to the wrong hotel that has a similar name. Other than that, would definitely stay again.

The rooms were very spacious and had excellent amenities for small time cooking, laundry. The most I liked was the room was overlooking the train tracks and being a train enthusiast it was great hotel. Staff were very cordial and went out of the way to help us out.
