As always. Great stay overall. I was here last month and have already booked a stay next month. Just need to speed up check in time. Especially if a problem develops with a check in and in my case. There were two problems. Neither solved before I finally checked after 2 people were added to check in personnel.

- convenient location and friendly, helpful personnel. also liked how the hotel had exits to different parts of the city like onto Gerrard St., Bay St., Yonge St. more indoor shopping ( especially for those cold winter days like we just had ) would be great so we wouldn't have to battle mother nature while staying in Toronto!

Our flight was delayed and so our check in time was much later than anticipated. The nice gentleman who checked us in said he upgraded our room as a first stay “thank-you”. Excited for a good nights rest, we proceeded to settle in. On appearance, nothing seemed to be upgraded from the initial booking (which was fine because it was not expected anyway). THE NOISE in this room ALL NIGHT LONG was HORRENDOUS. We shared a wall with some sort of staff facility, and was by far the most disturbing overnight experience we have ever encountered in an accommodation. Had we not settled in at midnight we would have requested a new room. Makes me wish they didn’t mess with our original room because it couldn’t have been any worse. We notified staff on check out, but nothing was really said apart from an obligatory “i’m sorry”, and sent on our way. Definitely not the stay we expected when chosen based on reviews, star rating and PRICE for what was received. Would not stay again.
