We have stayed at this property on our drive between Ontario and Nova Scotia several times. It is conveniently located close to the highway. The property, including the rooms, are clean. Rooms have mini fridges and are large. When booking,however, be clear about whether you want to stay in the main building (important in winter) or one of the outer 2 buildings. The rooms with the jacuzzi tubs are nice but the chlorine smell is extremely strong ! Buffet breakfast is included is quite good and varied. The gym is below standard (ie. two (2) of the three (3) aerobic machines were not working, the air conditioning was broken, the water dispenser was empty , towels had not been replenished and laundry was full, etc.) Overall, this is a reasonable motel for the price and we would definitely stay here again if we were on the same route.

This was our 2nd stay at the Laviolette Hotel. Very nice rooms, quite, clean, with very comfortable beds. Will be staying there again next time we are in the area.
