Many VRBOS's are stripped down, overly sanitized and feels like your staying in some money-making property. Here I felt like our cool Aunt let us crash at her place. It wasn't fancy but very home-y. It wasn't under decorated, but full of desert and Mexican themed art and trinkets. We loved it, and the pool was very welcoming as the day heated up.
We've stayed at casitas a little further from the highway and it had been quieter but the back of the house, where you really hang out, is not bad.... Kind of like white noise in the background.
We used the chiminea one night and we cooked in the well appointed kitchen two nights.
All in all we had a lovely visit and would stay there again.
