so bad we did not stay
The location was perfect. However when driving 9 hours to a beach and pay for an oceanfront property with a deck directly on beach access to the deck is a necessity for me. Someone was painting the steps from the outside of the deck and the door to to the was broken. There were men there working so I called immediately and let them know that the door was broke and it looked like men that were there painting would be able to fix it. I waited 3 hours for so

Excellent Views
Property is in desperate need of updates. The kitchen cabinets were falling apart, the can opener was rusty and rust got in the food. Other than the needed updates, it was very comfortable and the views were amazing! We watched ships from the deck.

Amazing unobstructed views of the beach and perfect beach access. We had our own spiral staircase to the beach from the deck. The condo is in need of lots of upgrades/repairs as many things are older and worn. However, it was clean and bug free.

Tybee Lights 108C falsely advertised that it was a 6 sleeping condo. The sofa bed was badly damaged and impossible to open for sleeping. Our 6th guest had to sleep on the couch as a couch. I know, first world problems, but I paid first world prices to have a 6 sleeping condo. I reached out to Vacasa and they offered an air mattress, but the couch seemed the better option. Then someone from Vacasa called saying they would come and take a look, but they never showed. It is a well used condo, but it had everything one would need to have a nice vacation. Tybee Island is wonderful. I will never use VRBO or Vacasa again. They make it impossible to reach anyone and they do not help when contact is made. Book with caution if you need the sofa bed.

Great location and view. Super clean.
The back deck was oceanfront and the view was amazing. Just a few steps to the beach. Everything's was very clean. Out dated cabinetry in the kitchen and bathroom but didn’t effect our stay. Beds were comfortable and plenty of blankets. Would absolutely stay again!! Is on the end of town away from the busy streets so is quiet.

Think twice
Upon arrival the property was 80 degrees as the air conditioner could not keep up. The sheets were stained, a very large stain on master bedroom carpet, windows are screwed shut in master bedroom so we could not get window open, the keypad on the front door did not work which caused our check in to take almost 1 full hour, the couch is very uncomfortable, the furniture is all worn, baseboards are chipped and cobwebs throughout condo. We were very excited for our first trip to Tybee Island. Unfortunately we left Tybee Island after only one night as condition of this condo just did not allow me to relax. Host never responded to any messages sent. Very disappointed.

The shag rugs are deeply stained, the kitchen sink cabinet is held together with a rubber band, the back bedroom window might fall out, the toilet seats need to be replaced, trim painted, and the outside stairs need to be fixed.

Great location, incredible beach views
Nice condo, clean and amazing ocean view and incredibly easy to walk to the shoreline. I would stay there again. If you are not good with stairs, i would not recommend.

Oceanfront Perfection!
We had a great time at this Tybee Lights condo. The views from the balcony and windows are breathtaking, and the condo was comfortable and stocked with anything we needed. We were right on the beach with easy access over the sand on marked paths or a very close wooden walkway on 2nd street. Lots of options for shopping and dining within easy and safe walking distance. I saw previous reviews mention the spiral steps off the back balcony and the sofa, I'm happy to report that a crew arrived during our stay to add additional support to the spiral steps and the sofa appeared to be brand new.

Oh The View!
The best part of this stay was the morning sunrise from my bed and the nice short walk to the beach each day! The pots, pans, mixing bowls, and storage containers are bit lacking but other than that the kitchen is sufficient. The bed was comfortable. The view from the deck was amazing both night and day! We enjoyed our stay and the location and would stay here again. *Need more than one parking space, or permission for the use of the visitor spots for family/friends visiting, the use of the visitors spots was not clear and made it very stressful for my family visiting for the day from Savannah.

Great location, 2nd story condo. Place could use an upgrade but it is livable. Condo is showing it age and moisture from the environment. otherwise it is an ok place to stay. 3 TV'S, washer dryer, nice table and chairs on the deck / balcony right on the beach.

Great location
I loved the location as it’s a little more private and not as packed. Great views of the beach with short steps to the water. The condo was fine for our family of four with teenagers. Beds comfortable. Only drawback, coach cushion needs to be replaced. Couldn’t sit on one as you felt the metal fold out bed. Also would have some dark curtains in bedroom so early morning light won’t wake you up.

Great Location and property
This home offers a great location and amenities. The property management company (Vacasa) was less than desirable to deal with. The day after we arrived I discovered a leak under the kitchen sink (it had obviously been a prior issue in light of the stained wood under the sink). I immediately contacted Vacasa . On Wednesday morning I still had no response from Vacasa and the Nest alarm had started chirping, so I again contacted them. It wasn't until Thursday afternoon that someone FINALLY came out to take care of the alarm. They said they would return the next day to replace the garbage disposal (where the leak was coming from). It never happened! Their text service, local phone number, and customer service line all failed to provide proper support and service. The property itself: great! I will say that the spiral staircase off the deck is not easily navigable. Myself and my teens are small framed, but even we had difficulty safely using it - especially while trying to carry any beach items. I hope the homeowner becomes aware of the issue and knows that Vacasa did not attend to the leak in a timely manner.

We were here early in the season so the beach was pretty quiet but that’s what we were looking for. Great access, fantastic sun rises and interesting to watch the ships coming in and out of Savannah.

Tybee relaxation!
Location is perfect. We walked to the lighthouse, post theater, and the pier. The only entrance is by a steep, narrow staircase. It was challenging for two senior adults to carry everything in. I may have missed this in the rental info. Floors in upstairs bedroom were extremely creaky. Anyone with a napping baby would be upset. Sofa in living room is totally shot and should be replaced ASAP! Guests in the lower unit came for one day with a continually barking dog. Luckily just one day. There was some construction in the unit next to us. I later learned this was prominently disclosed by a different rental company to their potential renters. Again, luckily they only worked a couple of days. There was also laundry left in the washer and dryer but it was promptly picked up. All this for your info. We had a great time. The deck was a highlight. View is amazing. Access to beach is great.

BEWARE. This unit should not be rented now (end of July) or likely for several months due to significant construction that is very obviously MONTHS from being finished. This listing said construction would be finished in June. It's now late July, and we were unpleasantly SURPRISED when we arrived by the windows being boarded up, deck access block, beach access removed, and loud banging all day. Also the cable (for Wifi and 3 TVs) had also been CUT when the workers removed the deck access. Wish I could post pics!! The properly condition is below par, but that was expected and we could see that from looking at the pictures closely, and it wasn't our main concern. Our main concern was being right on the beach with a view and being able to sit on the deck, but none of that was possible. My family was not happy, especially after 12 hours of travel to try to enjoy Tybee. We were only there for 3 days thankfully. We would have made other plans had we known about these problems before we arrived, but no one responsible for this property felt that to be necessary. They did give us a partial refund which I felt was the least they could do considering the lack of consideration for our hard earned money and the impact on our vacation. It was a small consolation - I would rather have avoided this entire mess. This experience tells me that the companies/owners involved in renting places like this can't be trusted. In the future, I'll have to avoid these websites.

Over all it was pretty good. The construction going on to the corner place wasn’t ideal.
The contractors had their building materials parked right in our parking spot. They were there when we arrived and still there when we left. Some of the construction that was done to our unit hasn’t been finished. Like the windows in the kitchen. Quite a bit of paint peeling in the upstairs bathroom above the light. I feel maybe some slight minor updates could be done. Like the back spiral stairs needs attention and updated appliances. But the location was perfect. And the beach was amazing. Overall it was an amazing experience and we loved it and would love to return again one day and will probably use your services again. Thanks for everything.

My son and I went for spring break and loved it. The fact that the ocean is right out the door was great. We spent every night looking out at the ocean from our balcony and bedroom window.
