We visited Tybee for a family vacation. Ages 4 months to 85 years old.
On a positive note, the pool area is the main attraction. It is so pretty and a great place to relax after a day at the beach. There are so many floats and toys, presumably left by previous guests, so don't bother bringing any more. The house was very clean and the property manager was very responsive every time we reached out.
On the downside, the owners/ property managers need to up their game a bit. The pool was not cleaned when we came, so we had toys and goggles in the pool and miscellaneous trash around the pool and in the landscaping. My husband cleaned the pool and I picked up the trash. This was not how we wanted to start our vacation.
Additionally, we had an A/C issue the first night, but the property manager was able to get someone out first thing the next morning; quite an accomplishment on a holiday weekend! Lastly, I saw where several previous guests mentioned the lack of basic cooking supplies. I agree. They seriously need to get a can opener, a colander, and some better pots and pans- or maybe just forget the cooking and plan to eat out!
