When we arrived at the cottage, we loved the location, found it quaint and nicely decorated. Unfortunately, the wifi was not working. We called the property management company and a concierge came out the next day and confirmed the router wasn’t getting power. He sat up a Hot Spot, and planned to return the following day with another box. The hot spot did not provide great service and this was a working vacation for us, so my husband missed several meetings. The new box failed, too. We were told the hot spot would have to do till we vacated. Then, the AC went out. The management company was quick to offer a transfer to a “nicer home.” It was very hot, but we only had two nights left, so we did move. This was a huge inconvenience, and this beach bungalow was two steps up, the new home was 2 flights of stairs in extreme heat. It was miserable and took 1/2 a day dealing with this, 1/2 a day dealing with AC. Basically, a whole day of our 3 day/4 night vacation. The property manager said we would also get a discount, but so far, we have heard nothing from the owner. This cottage was one home from the beach, the “nicer home” was 2 blocks past Butler (three blocks from the beach).
