I was very dissatisfied with both the Ukulhas Beach Inn and Expedia. I will never use Expedia again as long as I live.
The property falsely advertised many things about their hotel that simply were not true. They said the bed was a king size bed and it wasn't even a queen. It was a full or double size bed. The hotel also advertised they had a gym and they didn't. There was a gym on the island but had been closed due to covid 19 for many months.
They show a larger menu for breakfast items than what they offer. If you want a traditional breakfast they have to order it from a local restaurant and go pick it up. Some days it wasn't available.
The biggest issue with us was the WIFI which was very weak signal if it worked at all. The manager was very rude about it and said it was our fault for watching Netflix and using too much data. I told them it was immoral and illegal to advertise they had amenities when they didn't work or were not available. On the day before we checked out we found out that the reason the WIFI was so slow because 4 devices in the owner's home were using the hotel WIFI. We stayed there for a month with slow or no WIFI at all and then found out the real reason.
We would have never known the truth if it wasn't displayed on the TV screen. The house boy was the only good thing about the property. The manager was rude from the very beginning so we tried to avoid him. I asked to talk to the owner to express my concerns but never answered his phone
