This was a beautiful home. We loved the spacious house, pool and proximity to the beach. This house has everything and like the other review said - it was the best stocked house we’ve ever seen. This is truly a home for all ages. The host was wonderful, responsive and accommodating. The location and house are spectacular with so much to do both at the house and in the surrounding area.

A great stay for our family!

Our stay at this home was one of our best. The home has a wonderful layout. The kitchen has everything you need to serve a large group. The pool is lovely and the screened porch was a daily gathering place for our family of 10. The house is very close to a great bike path and about a 10-15 minute walk to a beautiful beach.Our family highly recommends this home.

This spacious, comfortable house was perfect for our family vacation. The screened porch and large, clean pool really added nice perks to the week. We walked to the Whistle Stop for coffee and ate once at the Red Arrow Roadhouse; One night we drove to an ice cream venue less than 10 miles away...The rest of the time we had meals easily prepped in the well-appointed kitchen. The 10 min. walk to the beach was easy and in a lovely neighborhood. And the beach itself was not crowded, but we were there on weekdays not on Sat/Sun. We lucked out with warm sunny weather and the air was comfy and not humid, so it was perfect for outdoor sand, lake, and pool activity. And having the pool and the lake at our fingertips, our three grandsons had a blast. Kevin was very responsive to any questions we posed and very accommodating. I would recommend this rental to anyone and would def return here for another family vacation!

Awesome property and house!

The house was even better than we expected! The owners thought of everything and it was the most well stocked house we have ever stayed in. There was plenty of room for 4 families and we all enjoyed the pool and outdoor garage space. It was in a perfect location and beautiful property. We would definitely stay here again!

Great getaway, great layout, great for families!

We loved this house! The layout was perfect for our getaway with friends that included multiple families. Having 4 king size bedrooms with attached bathrooms made it perfect for a group family or friend vacation getaway. Additionally, there were enough other rooms for us to have the kids all in comfortable sleeping environments. The house was well stocked and had a lot of great things for families to enjoy. The owner was extremely responsive and communicative, which made everything very smooth. We could walk to the beach and a cute coffee shop and take a short drive to anything else we needed. We would definitely return!

Michigan Mates

The house was great. We had 11 adults and a 9 month old. Everyone had a great time. The outdoor area is wonderful and we used the screened in porch a great deal. We loved it. Beds were very comfortable. Walk to the beach wasnt bad but with all our beach stuff decided to rent a golf cart to make it even easier. Kevin was a great host-very responsive to all my questions. Great property!

Spectacular property

Our extended family gathered to celebrate my parents' 60th wedding anniversary and this home was perfect. Our group of 13 ranged from age 13 to 81 and was comfortable for all. The house is beautiful and well-equipped, with ample room for us to spread out (screened porch, pool house, upstairs den). The hosts were very responsive to inquiries while were were there. Would highly recommend.

My family and I have been planning this trip together for a few years. When we booked the house initially, we were informed from the host that VRBO had double booked the home and we had to change our week. Coordinating this trip was timely and took effort. The host emailed me ,with several options, so we had to change our week or find another home. Upon arrival to the home, it was hot, in checking the termostate, it was blank. I reached out to host via text, no response, so I called and he implied that nothing could be wrong as they were just there. After providing pics a service person was called and arrived promptly to fix. Per the contract it states to do a walk thru of the home and provide and damages noticed, which I did. Again, it was implied that his family was there the week before so how can this be. After providing a pic of the hot tub, which was green, he also stated that is the way it is to look. Service was called, it was drained due to poor water quality and fixed. Also upon arrival the bedspread in upstairs master has blood on it, and the coffee makers were stored with old grinds and all. The home was not cleaned to our standards, who relies on a cleaning crew to ensure the property is ready for the next family. Overall we did have a great time, being together, great location but not worth the amount charged for the week. Communications with the host made us feel very unwelcomed. I would not rent this property again.

Lovely Lakeside Retreat for 8 Adults and 7 Children

We enjoyed having many sitting areas in which to relax. Plenty of space. The pool and pool house area were great. We had everything we needed to entertain the children. The house was well stocked and at a picturesque location. Within walking distance to beach. Amenities were copious and varied. Quick response from owner's when questions were asked. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely rent it again.

Beautiful Home would absolutely recommend

We had group vacation at this beautiful house and we not only in love with the spaciousness and beauty of this homes but the little touches here and there was the icing on the cake. There were sound machines in every room and little fans. The pool had floats and was pristine. We had 7 kids, so the bunk room was great. The owner was amazing, super responsive and nice. We would absolutely love to stay here again, and will try to book it for next year.

Great home, Amazing location and amenities!

This home is exactly as advertised and in a great location. The pool and hot tub were clean warm on our arrival. The host, Kevin, was very responsive and accommodating to our requests. The beach was only a 10 min walk from the house. We had a total of 6 adults and 6 children during our stay and we had more than enough room (probably could have fit another family with no issue). Would definitely stay here again.

The Absolute Best!!

Our stay was absolutely the best!! This house is what dreams are made of. The pool was heated and perfect for swimming! We hosted slightly under 20 people and there was plenty of plates, silverware, platters, cups and anything else you might need! The beds were incredibly comfortable! Kevin was very responsive to all questions before our stay! I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a luxury weekend close to Lake Michigan! Quiet Getaway

Kevin and Ellen were tremendous hosts, and their property couldn't have been better for the quiet getaway my friends and I wanted. New Buffalo has plenty to do, but we wanted some distance from all the busyness, and their property delivered exactly what we were looking for. They were incredibly gracious with not only their home but also their service. Would absolutely recommend!

Michigan family trip

Had a great vacation at this home.... Even though the weather did not cooperate a few days we still had a great time. We had all of our adult children/spouses as well as my 87-year-old father and new grandbaby with us... The amenities are fabulous, the owner was very responsive and it's a great little area for a quiet relaxing trip!!

Exceeded Expectations!

This was an amazing property to stay at for our Labor Day getaway with friends! The house had plenty of space and activities for all. We were a short walk to the beach, and they supplied ample beach towels, chairs, etc. We did venture to the beach a couple of times, but didn’t need considering the amazing pool setup they had. We had everything we needed and more! The bedrooms were all very clean and comfy, and there were plenty of areas to gather or escape to as needed. The house itself was beautifully designed and decorated. Most importantly, the owners were very accommodating, responsive, and communicative before and during our visit. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone visiting the area!
