This is a beautiful 16th century hacienda. It is quite well maintained, but it is obvious that more money should be invested to bring it back to its former glory, especially the bathroom ceilings. However, for anyone who wants a peaceful and quiet vacation, outside the city but not too far away, this hacienda is an excellent choice. But, guests must be aware that this facility is in the forest, there are animals, humidity is constantly present - this is a tropical area after all. The staff is very friendly, they speak mostly only Spanish, but communication is possible with apps. On the other hand, whatever we asked was done immediately. This is a place to rest your soul from the city crowds and everyday stress! It is wonderful to sit on the porch in the morning, with the discreet voices of animals and enjoy excellent coffee brought to you by smiling staff!

De 10 días de estancia solo 3 con internet y solo hasta las 10:40 pm. Al preguntar, el personal me dijo: -Si tienes iPhone tienes que ponerlo en modo avión y después conectarlo al internet ?!?! -un rayo quemó el contacto del módem. -ya le llamamos al técnico. -el técnico no ha venido por tanta lluvia. -conéctate a la cabaña 15 o 16 -ya hicimos todo lo posible y no sabemos por qué no hay señal. La habitación olía a humedad hasta las sábanas y almohadas. No regreso.

What a lovely place. A 17th century hacienda waiting to invite adventuresome guests. While only 8 km outside bustling Valladolid, you feel like you’ve stepped back in time. We were the only guests the three nites we were there which is a shame because it really is a lovely spot and all the staff is there to make your visit comfortable. We loved it

It was a Mex. Historical 1500 s Hacienda. Nice, quiet, detailed, peaceful and simple but exqusite. Stayed for 1 night and spent 2! 5min from beautiful Valladolid. Took a 1 hour nap next to pool. WE WILL COME AGAIN! Wild turkeys in front lawn and such a nice experience. Dont miss this place!! love this peace and quiet in the woods 5 star.

The cabanas have been recently remodeled and are in great shape, with very comfortable beds. The staff was excellent, polite, friendly, accommodating all of our needs. They are all to be commended. The location was lovely, set in a natural spot away from the hustle and bustle of the Valladolid, very relaxing and peaceful. Still close enough to the city to visit, as well as the Mayan ruins of Chichen Itza and Ek Balam and north to the coast to observe birds. And don't forget the pool! Highly recommend La Hacienda for those who are looking for a restful vacation.
