The room was well maintained and the staff was very friendly. The gold floor felt exclusive and private with a nice lounge that offers snacks and breakfast. Fairmont gold is definitely worth it

The property is nice and clean. The only annoyance is the parking situation. Parking is at the terminal which is abit of walk outside vs just going to basement

In a flight cancelation emergency where my mostly blind Mom and I were stuck in Mexico, the Fairmont was a lovely place to layover on our way home to Comox. We had a superb midnight supper after a visit to the Gold lounge. It just so happened thatone of the last 2 rooms available landed us on the 14th. Most comfortable bed I have EVER slept in. A beautiful hotel, comfortable and well thought out room. Didn’t hear the planes despite it being in the terminal at the airports - great soundproofing. The staff were very friendly and responsive. The food at the restaurant and room service were tasty.
