This was our second time staying at the Hotel Moresco. The hotel is closer to the bus station and can be a longer walk to the famous sites, however I would rather walk a shorter distance with my luggage than drag it up and down steps and thru the crowded Venice streets. Water taxis are an easy way to reach the hotel, too. The hotel is lovely inside, beautiful rooms, lovely common area. Good breakfast and Happy Hour. The value can not be beat while there is no sacrifice to luxury. !We would always stay at Hotel Moresco while in Venice!

A wonderful stay made better by little details
We saw the great rating and jumped at the chance to stay here. When our train pulled into Venice it was pouring and by the time we got to the hotel (less than a 10 min walk) we were pretty soaked. But as soon as we walked in we forgot all about it. They took our passports and directed us to the lounge for a welcome drink and some pastries, and encouraged us to take our time while they checked us in. When we finally finished they accompanied us to our room where we found our bags waiting for us and they had even taken our jackets and hung them to dry. The service is friendly, the room is comfortable and the details are like this the whole stay. They have a nightly happy hour in the lounge where if you order a drink you can help yourself to finger foods, little sandwiches, salames etc. Beyond that the hotel is very classically decorated and has a nice garden. It’s close to the train and the Piazzale Roma (for buses and water taxis) but walkable to the main sights. Would definitely recommend!

The location was extremely convenient for access to both the train station and airport shuttles. Do not overlook this aspect as there are stairs and bridges throughout town that we were able to avoid. There is also easy access to water taxi stations to explore town and other islands. The property is beautiful and well kept. The staff went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay.

By far our favorite hotel experience ever! Staff was incredibly nice and approachable. Started with a prosecco welcome and continued with a great complimentary breakfast and cocktail hour. Room was great, bathroom shower was incredible. Received great recommendations for restaurants.

This hotel had its charm and was a great stay. The staff are all very nice and helpful. The room was cozy but did get a little warm. With lack of AC though we had to sleep with the windows open, which allowed a few mosquitoes to pay us a visit while sleeping. Overall though, we enjoyed our stay and the staff.

We had a great time in Venice.The hotel Moresco is a wonderful place to stay. Its in a great location for transportation and very quiet at night. It has all the facilities we need and very clean and comfortable.The staff were fantastic as well. They made us feel welcome and were very well look after. Superb.

Staff are so pleasant & helpful. Wonderful food laid on for free at happy hour in lounge promotes mixing of guests making for pleasant evenings were new friendships can be made. Can’t find a reason not to use this hotel again and this was our third stay here in last seven years to prove it. We will be back for our next trip to wonderful Venezia !
