I first came to this hotel back in 2005 when it was part of the Mercure Group, and I immediately fell in love with the building, the staff, and the rooms. The location is perfect – just a one-minute walk to bars, restaurants, and shops, making it incredibly convenient.
However, since the hotel disassociated from Mercure in 2005 and became Triangulo Apart Hotel, things have drastically changed. Unfortunately, the furniture and equipment in the rooms are still the same as they were nearly two decades ago, and there has been no evident maintenance done since. The cleanliness of the hotel has become a serious issue. Mold can be found in the fridge, the bathroom, and even in the shower tray. The small window inside the shower looks like it hasn't been cleaned in years, making it quite unpleasant to use.
The staff here gives mixed impressions. While some can be friendly and helpful, they are often absent and distant, making it feel as though they don't care much about guest satisfaction.
The only positive aspect during my stay was the breakfast. The two ladies serving it were exceptionally friendly and attentive, making that part of the experience enjoyable.
This isn't my first review of this place. Last year, I also mentioned that the room conditions were unacceptable, and unfortunately, nothing has changed since. My partner and I have decided that this will be our last stay here, as we will be opting for an Airbnb for our future visits.
