We loved this very attractive, bright, generously spaced and pristine home and on the basis of those features, we would definitely recommend it to other people, including the excellent way it's set up for young families. At the same time, as experienced travellers we do need to make some suggestions for what is needed in addition, for people who are expecting what is generally provided in an appropriately equipped holiday home, as follows:
- there are no written instructions for how to use:
- the dishwasher (which we couldn't get to work)
- the [small] heater
- at the time that we were there the nights were very cold, and there weren't enough blankets, and inadequate heating (even if we could have worked the one heater there)
- there are no pamphlets with information about Wagga
- the kitchen needs:
- cooking equipment for the stove and oven (saucepans, baking dishes, etc)
- bowls for salads and fruit
- some sort of coffee machine (ideally) or at least for plunger coffee
- there are no bedside lamps/bedside tables in three of the bedrooms
- the bathroom sink cold water tap drips
- the handle of the cold tap in the bath keeps falling off
Again, however, we did enjoy staying in this home, with its attractively furnished rooms, its great sunroom, and location near the lovely lake, and clear instructions for entry.
